I question this narrative since they aren't really similar. Josh is a gunslinger in the Elway (Dan Reeves era)/Favre mode while Drake is tasked with running a precision offense like Walsh's 9ers teams and most of the better Brady teams. Fans of the former will almost never appreciate the latter. Ironically it was all the Favre ball-washing ahead of Super Bowl XXXII that made me look more critically at that QB style.

Boston's hockey guy (retired) Rene Rancourt was one of the best in the business and his replacement Todd Angilly is like going from Montana to Young. I guess you have to like a certain style that these guys do, but for my tastes it is far preferable to performers that want to "make the song their own" by doing (the same) stupid runs all over end of a verse.
Is the Bears' FG kicker terrible? Why did they go for it?
Obviously I have a favorite but I'm with you on the NFC. I was a Denver fan before I moved to Boston and even though I ultimately chose a side I'll be happy with any team but those two.

I think teams are reluctant to kick in this weather. Same thing with Maye's butterfingers, you gotta nail the spot for these kicks and the snow really complicates it. It looks like the wet kind.

That hit to Caleb Williams's head was a little harder than one the Pats made against Herbert last week but I really think giving 15 yards for what is really incidental contact while being blocked is not a good application of that rule no matter how hard the announcers seem to be lobbying for more penalties.

Superbowl 49 Seahaws vs Pats - was completely awful - worse than last years Chiefs vs Eagles. When you dislike both teams its hard to get behind either......you just pick the one you dislike less.....if they exist......

I miss when I had 2-3 other Pats fans around here. Reminded me of the first Super Bowl win when I was at a bar in Vegas and it was all Rams fans. Didn't really talk to the other Pats fan the whole time but we found each other when it was over.
