The 49ers traded up to No. 88 to select Ohio St. RB Trey Sermon

These were Sermon's final three games of his career. Decent numbers. pic.twitter.com/CAzT96dZ4q

Mostert, Wilson, Gallman, Hasty, Deebo and Lance carrying the rock - geeeez

Niners wagering that an improved pass rush is going to relieve some of the pressure on the backfield.Where the hell is a CB? They got abused last year at that position.

If Trey Sermon can stay healthy...he'll rush for 1,200 yards in the 49ers' scheme. Really like that pick for them.

Congrats on the out-of-nowhere 1,000 yard rushing season 2 years from now, Trey Sermon

I’ve watched Thomas. He’s a ball-hawk. Here’s my blurb on him. Props to the Niners for not taking a slow# CB. Bet on athletes.

He’s probably gonna be the returner. He came *this* close to breaking one a few times at Michigan. pic.twitter.com/c8U7CYzaXc
balance and footwork like a young Frank Gore
Witherspoon is on the Seahawks so that’s not really an issue. They need good corners; Witherspoon has no business on the team, and Sherman is close to expiration date.
On Lance From Priscoe CBS
"
Grade: C-
I just don't see trading up with two first-round picks as the price to get a guy who is raw and needs time. Lance has skills, but he will need time.
"
This is a good assessment for Lance - raw looking. looks decent, but not #3. A #3 pick should be ready almost immediately. As far as Fields dropped, this shows the move-up was an overpayment in hindsight unless Lance becomes a star - alot of pressure.
Co-worker called him Kapernick 2.0 - I hope better than that. Mildly optimistic, but disappointed also. I'll be watching Fields who the 49ers could've had for much less, epilepsy and all.
