It's so strange. The goal of this ball game is to win. If we drafted a future NBA all-defense nominee, we figure out later how he works (if he does) with your other guards or they'll now be disposable.

Don't repeat not drafting a PG because you already have one.

Wish they would have just traded 9 for the Knicks first rounders. Could have picked any two out of Jalen Johnson, Keon Johnson, Kai Jones, Isaiah Jackson and Garuba. Defense from every player, better fit from every player and higher ceilings from many of them to boot.

For what it's worth, basketball-reference had him leading the NCAA in most defensive categories this past season, ahead of even Evan Mobley. He's absolutely huge and worth a flyer in the 2nd round.

If he's the best defender in the draft, I'm gonna wait to hold judgement a bit....just like Bagley. Of course that was at #2 in the draft.

the problem with Mitchell isn’t whether he is a good or bad player. Players need time to progress and he isn’t going to get it behind Fox, Hali and Wright. Neither he or Terrance Davis are likely to progress.

Queta can run, block, get into passing lanes, and is a surprisingly good passer. He can't shoot worth a damn and he's a little older than some guys but he is very much the sort of value pick you go for in the 2nd round.
