I don't get Toronto passing on Suggs to take another offensively-challenged forward in Scottie Barnes. Some teams just have a type and that's what Toronto likes. (like us with skinny shooting specialists who don't defend) If Scottie Barnes turns out like Ron Artest or Scottie Pippin, I'll eat my hat. I'm not a fan. I'd even take Kuminga over him and I'm not high on Kuminga either.
I don't mind the idea if the plan is Barnes-OG-Siakam. FVV is an excellent floor general already, so while I would have taken Suggs, it's not like they don't have a lead playmaker. Barnes should be expected to fill that secondary role anyway.
Good for you Orlando. Get yourselves a floor general to fix your non-existent offense. I had them taking Barnes so this was a come-up for them in my book.
I was just thinking Suggs could be their new starting PG.
