Exactly. The post draft press conference is a good example. Our Gm was questionned on how he have used a lot of draft captial on bigs and his answer was that "all the bigs can play 3 too". The fact that no one questionned him about that, no one calling his bs, no one saying that its just insulting to a fanbase to expect them to be so stupid thah they believe that, its just sad to me. When you dont demand intelligence and excellence as a fanbase, this is what you get: a rookie gm trying to sell wcs, skal and co capable of playing 3 in todays Nba without any consequences

I'm not ockingsfan, but I will interject one thing. I don't pay to see the front office or listen very much to what they say. I pay to watch a bunch of very talented individuals take the court and play the game I have loved for half a century. You make it sound as though the stands are filled with simpletons. A LOT of Kings fans are not interested in micromanaging the team. They quite honestly couldn't care less about who is drafted as long as it's someone with talent. They don't hang on every word on social media or in the press. They just come to watch the games. If they keep coming, it's pretty obvious they're satisfied that they're getting their money's worth. At the end of the day, sports is just entertainment. I think sometimes we all forget about that fact.

Speak for yourself and not the fanbase. It's only insulting if you want to be insulted. If you're a realist, you understand Vlade is not about to get into some in-depth discussion of his logic for picking Bagley right after the draft any more than Joerger would get into in-depth analysis of his rotational scheme right after a loss. What's stupid to me is that some fans think just because they want a question answered that it has to be answered.

Demand intelligence and excellence as a fanbase? BY WHOSE YARDSTICK? I understood what Vlade was saying. To an extent, he's actually right. In the NBA of today, positions are becoming less and less important. We might put a big out there with two other bigs and two guards at some point. It doesn't mean it'll happen every night but who's to say we won't see it?

I apologize if I'm sounding harsh but this is all just beyond ridiculous.

To me its very insulting to except a fan be okay with Vlade saying how Wcs or Skal can play 3. If you dont want to answer a question about drafting so many bigs, try to get out of it by giving a no answer like "we take the best possible players and let them battle it out". Thinking that this fan base is gullible enough to buy that "all of our bigs can play 3" is insulting imo. If you find that ridiculous, thats okay but that answer most certainly was just stupid.

I get it, you're insulted. Well, I don't know what to tell you. Perceiving insult where I'm pretty sure none was intended is a personal choice, one I don't happen to agree with.

Still processing this draft. Not real happy about the pick. Wish we got Trae Young. Can't wait to see Young play in the NBA. I'm telling you, he's going be a star. As for Bagley? Meh. I don't see him making us better by himself as someone playing off the ball, and I don't see Fox lighting it up. Fox probably puts up 13/6 and bagley 12/8.

Grant cleared it up on the radio today. Said he questioned Vlade about that and he said it wasn't his intention to mislead people into thinking Bagley or the others could play the three. He said he meant that in certain lineups against certain teams all of them are capable of guarding the three. He said Bagley is a 4/5.

Good thing someone questioned him about that and that ridiculousness didnt just slip past everyone. It shouldnt be assumed this fanbase is that ignorant it could believe bs like Wcs, Skak or Bagley being able to play 3.

How do we (you) know how the fan base feels about wanting to draft Doncic? Or do you think Kingsfans posters represent the fan base? Cause they don't.
