I don't know about choke this, choke that. But I do know that Cleveland just won finals game with lowest shooting % (32.6 !!) in NBA history. By quarters in this series so far (10 counting OT) Cleveland is simply out playing, out muscling Golden State on both ends. Rebounds are hard to come by in this series and buckets even harder - but so far Cleveland has decided gritty edge.

Don't place any stock in the Cav's win.
Steph was hardly trying, and only started making shots when the W's were behind in the 4th.

The Warriors are so sure they're going to win the series, they gave one to the Cavs, so the series could get "even" and people wouldn't be turning off to the series.
This way it can still retain the illusion of being a competitive series, but we all really know it's a foregone conclusion - it's just a matter of how close the Warriors want to make the series before shutting them out.

LOL! If you can see the future that clear, then maybe you should join the Kings FO and decide who will be the pick.

But while you keep snoozing in dreamland, I'll say never underestimate any team with the best player in league.
This time that Sir is Lebron James, Curry can take all the MVP tag with him. But Lebron has been ringing close to 40 pts in this series and he's not slowing down at all.

If the Warriors end with 2 OT games in their home court, I don't know if they'll even get a win in Cleveland.

The Cavs post injury match up pretty well with the Warriors IMO. The talent is nowhere near the same but with Delly and Tristan Thompson in there instead of Irving and Love they go from so-so defensively to downright scary. That team is perfect for the way Lebron is going to have to play from here on out. In the end talent may prove to be the difference but these first two games have proven that they are going to have to figure the Cavs out if they want to win it.

i still don't see any way that the warriors lose this series. it's just so inconceivable given their depth and talent in comparison to cleveland's. but it's gotta be a bit disconcerting for golden state fans to watch their team struggle to deal with the cavs' tempo control through the first two games of this series. i mean, what completely healthy "best team in the nba" should ever require overtime at home in back-to-back games against a weaker opponent who is beset by major injuries? i expect the warriors to wake up at some point, but why help along lebron's confidence by not setting a dominant tone early? to think that the cavs might be up 2-0, if not for some poor late-game execution in game 1...

Bottom line in all of this is that it just proves the old adage: There's a reason they actually play the games. ;)

Only 2 games in but this kind of reminds me of last year. Heat made it 1-1 but then the Spurs went on to destroy them

I find this post to be completely ignorant without any truth or merit to it.. curry not trying? How about the defense that was played on him? I'm sure it had no effect at all on him. The Warriors could be down 0-2 right now, but I guess they weren't trying at all and really really wanted to go into overtime both times on their home floor. Warriors problem is they have no experience, no been there done that guy that says "get your head out of your *** and play ball" and no guy with hints or tips. Even their coach is a rookie himself.

GS has no answer for Lebron/Mozgov cleaning up the defensive glass, then just walking the ball up the floor. And while GS has two great shooters, their poor shot selection doesn't help.

If Blatt would stop being a fool and play Mozgov more, who's making Bogut's life very tough inside, this series could swing. Don't forget the next three are in Cle. If they can somehow win two of them I wouldn't bet against Lebron winning one of game 6 or 7 back here.

I wouldn't say it's likely but Cle shot terribly yesterday and still won. JR is going to have breakout game at some point. Guys like him, Delly and Shumpert likely will shoot better at home. Delly likely will be allowed to be even more physical with Steph in Cle given the home court advantage refs regularly buy into. And this is one reason why I don't think GS would have gotten by SA, the ability to slow the game down and grind out out physically is GS's weak point. Then you add Lebron to that. And, Delly is the best defensive PG Steph has had to face this post season. Steph hasn't been able to really get on the ball and dominate in either of the first two. Can't free up outside off the bounce, isn't getting into the lane and creating looks.

And here we go again.

The way the Grizzlies and Cavs have been able to just completely throttle the "high octane offense" opens up all sorts of questions about how good this Warriors team would really have done in a different era with lots of elite halfcourt slamball teams.

And Vivek PLEASE BE WATCHING. And comprehending.

Cleveland is on fire and it's safe to say they have all the momentum. Those jump shots for the Warriors are all of a sudden not dropping.

Ain't over yet. Unfortunately the Cavs beyond LeBron are still vastly inexperienced at this level and thought it was.

Good game to watch. Curry can shoot that ball. Anyways, the key to beating the Warriors is slowing everything down. Use up 20 seconds of the shot clock, rough up the shooters, and let someone else try to beat you. You stop Curry, you stop GS.

Shumpert's got poop for brains right now, and JR Smith is JR Smith. Even Mozgov made some knucklehead decisions. If they get their heads in the game, that might make all the difference.
Youth is wasted on the young. GS might lean on Iggy and Lee a little more, but even they haven't really been here before.

Hmmm, maybe Kings should actually take note here - if they ever get back to playoffs. Reincarnate a Doug Christie type to slow down physically wear Curry, deliberately walk the ball up (no jazzy BS!), relentlessly feed Big Cuz, working inside out to frustrate Golden State just like Cleveland has found a recipe. Sure, for Kings would be nice if Rudy Gay had same kind of steady handles that 'Bron has - but guess we can't have everything. Clearly Big Cuz with right supporting cast could be a wrecking ball to relentlessly hammer (and thus control) Golden State instead of simply tying to out do them at what they want to do.

The old kings would have match up well with this current warriors and gives them fit. Bobby Jackson and Doug Christie are the perfect defensive answer to curry and Thompson. Meanwhile Webb and divac would do the damage inside
