Yep. Pretty sure this is where we’re at. At this point it will take attaching goodies (draft picks, Keon, etc) to get him moved.
If you have to attach assets to move him I think you have to just let him expire. The team isn’t in a position to give up assets.

I'm afraid the Kings are going to have to eat that contract as you said, no use in attaching anything worth while. Put him in a bench role and if he pouts and causes drama, then you can do what the Heat did with Jimmy and sit him for "detriment to team conduct" purposes

Excited? No. But I did convince myself at least we got a high quality starter back. The fit is obviously issue number one in retrospect, but I also wasn’t familiar enough with his game to understand what a low IQ player he really is.

Every scout knew that Lavine is a low iQ player with little defensive effort. Scott Perry knew this and said it publicly. All any executive or owner would have to do is ask. Did Ranadive do this? Did he value McNair's evaluation and opinion of Lavine? Probably not. It's called hubris

I was. Despite his faults, no one can deny how smooth his game is.
