Teams Kings Have Problems Beating...

I made that topic on 02/06/05. The 3 teams I listed were the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Golden State Warriors. As of now, I am basically correct about all 3 of my picks, even though I wish I wasn't. Here is the Kings record against those 3 teams:

Minnesota Timberwolves (1-2)
Portland Trail Blazers (1-1)
Golden State Warriors (1-3)

As you can see, the Kings only beat the Golden State Warriors once this season. Kings have probelms against certain teams, and the Warriors are one of them. There is no need to get upset over this loss. Our next game is against the Portland Trail Blazers, and yet again, I won't be surprised if we lose since they always give the Kings a problem, but the Kings might have a better chance since Zach Randolph is out for the rest of the season.

As much as I hate to say it, these 3 teams are tough for the Kings. If the Kings manage to go split the season series against these 3 teams, I'll be happy. Now that the Warriors beat the Kings, the Kings must beat the remaining games against the Blazers and against the Minnesota Timberwolves to balance it out.

Currently the Blazers have cashed in on their season...and our giving all their young guys/rooks a run...their current back court is Telefair and Stoudamire...talk about small...whoa!

Simply stated, I think we really need the presence of bigger men and we don't have them right now. Any team that attacks the boards will give the Kings a hard time.

Traditionally, we have handled the Warriors with relative ease, despite their athleticism. It's been since 94 that they won a season series from us. Well, up until now anyway.

Have you seen their rook from Russia play? Khryapa? Kid looks pretty good. 9-10 21 points 7 boards 3 blocks the other night. Believe he is a SF.

Kings have always struggled against Portland and Minnesota. I think the jury is still out on GS since the Kings have had so many different roster changes in the course of their 4 meetings. Even tonights game's lineup was different than the GS game a couple of days ago.

yeah he's definetly a bright spot for their future

They also have Sergei Monya overseas, so ya they have a bright future. Would have loved for the Kings to have drafted both of em. For some reason, those two names have stuck with me, ever since the draft.

No offense, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Anything posted before Feb. 23 about how "the Kings" fare against other teams can not possibly be considered relevant at this point in time.
