we didnt mess up! we didnt mess up!
Perhaps not. Or at least not as bad as we could have.

But we also didn't address any of our needs, and we just added another guy who will demand shots to a lineup half a step from gunbattles int eh street to see hwo gets the ball as is.

Robinson and Cousins certainly have enough emotion for 5 teams, let a lone 1.

If he can change the culture of our team, I can worry about the defense later. Cousins needs to get in the gym and word on his defense. Big time.

I agree.

I really wanted MKG, but if MKG was off the board the Robinson would have been my next choice if we didn't make a trade.

Again, I'll point out that though Robinson isn't a shot-blocker he is super physical and hyper-athletic. In fact, his quickness for his size is astounding.
So he and Cousins are going to be very, very difficult to deal with due to their physicality on the front-line.

At least he has the right attitude...then again, again that can be a problem. Too many cocky guys truly beleiveing they need the ball = meltdown.

I agree that now the first order of business is to do something to bring in a SF, because our greatest area of need has not been addressed.

I will say that Robinson is probably not going to be a major shot-muncher.

I think he's going to be one of those guys who isn't going to demand shots, but will take what is given to him in the game. I don't consider him a scoring PF, but more like a mega-rebounding physical PF who will be able to score. He isn't going to be anything like a Shareef who is there to score, score, score.

This guy is fantastic. Man, the Kings are soooo freaking lucky to have this guy. He has a motor that doesn't quit and more athleticism than MKG. He's a warrior. Just great for this team. With Cousins and Robinson they are going to clean up on the boards like you wouldn't believe.
Absolutely this. He's got as much athleticism as anyone in this draft, his motor is unbelieveable. He's a fantastic man and team defender and he's going to be able to step in and be a #3 option type on offense.

Man, this is really amazing. IT-Reke-T-Rob-Cousins core is absolutey a step in the right direction

That's a pessimistic outlook, even if it is possible. Not perfect, but I'm still excited. Maybe Thornton can be traded for a defensive SF, and that will help with the shots situation. Robinson could surprise people, he's going to be a very good player. Very promising front court situation either way, especially if Hassan can develop.

Really lukewarm on Robinson. I don't see how he really addresses any of the team's holes. The lane is already crowded for the Kings on offense and Robinson isn't really known for defense. Would I rather have had Barnes due to the hole at SF? Maybe. Still lukewarm on Barnes. Would rather have traded the pick for Lowry at this point.

We didn't fix our SF problem or add Lowry, but hard to argue with Thomas Robinson as BPA. If we go hard after Nicolas Batum I think we can move Tyreke back to PG now and let Terrence Williams be the starting SG.

I'm happy. I don't know if it will work with Cousins, but right now I don't want to think about it. T-Rob is a great guy, a hard worker, and I like him as a person. It's a player with the kind of attitude we need in this team.

I also want to be optimist, if the Gasol-Randolph duo is working in Memphis, DMC-T-Rob can work here in Sacramento.

So Portland really was in love with Lillard, so they got the PG they wanted.

Barnes goes to Golden State, which I think will be a really good fit for them. Gives them great size at the SF along with a good sized SG they have with Klay.

So does Toronto take Drummond, or will he slip to Detroit. I think it's a complete lock that Detroit takes Drummond if he's there, but I think Drummond goes next.

Go Watch T-Rob play a game. Seriously, go watch him. You don't have a clue what this kid is about.

Insane athleticism. Relentless motor. Best rebounder in the draft. Great overall offensive game. Great man defender, and understands rotations on defense.

Literally the only thing he doesn't do is shot-blocking which is beyond overrated as far as Im concerned. We can get a bench guy to do that. This is a brilliant step forward for this organization and we just created the best young bigs duo in the NBA.

Well, we didn't pick a guy we'll trade and didn't screw up. That's a victory. Now any bets on where Drummond ends up? I share some DNA with Bricklayer on shot blocking so I guess I'll hope for Hassan to get his act together. Now we need to trade bodies on the periphery and get some damn defense. I'd settle for some trade to get Henson but if we are going to build a team, let's get someone better. Doesn't have to be all done today.

I'm fully aware of what he doesn't bring, but I think where Robinson is, and where we draft, you have to pick him and work it out later. Unless a slightly less talented version w/shotblocking is in the draft, you have to go w/a need and a guy who plays the right way.

I'm just ecstatic that we didn't try to outmaneuver ourselves. We got great value. He'll try, he cares. He may not block shots, but heres to hoping he'll be a positive influence on our young guys.

Tyreke at Pg is over, His future here is at 2, he won't stay if hes at the 3. We either commit to him at the 2 or trade him for pieces.

Well, that would be a dream scenario.
Tyreke & TWill as the guards, Batum as SF, and Robinson & Cousins the big men up front...that's a really physical/nasty line-up.

I don't see us making a push to go after Batum unfortunately.

I don't know what we're going to do to get a good SF, but we have to do something this off-season.

I would still love to see a trade made to get another 1st round pick to pick up one of the SFs that will still be there.

His attitude, mentality, work ethic and motor are some things that will really benefit this young team. Those things don't always show up on the court but could go a long way toward getting us back to winning ways.

Would be pretty perfect to get another first rounder and take someone like Jeffery Taylor.
