Update on saturday. The additional players added besides Peterson and Tristan Thompson are, Alec Burks, a 6'6" SG from Colorado, Greg Smith, a 6'10" center/PF from Fresno St., Lavern Johnson, a 6'6" SG from Mississippi St., and Alex Stephenson, a 6'10" PF from USC.

Tristan Thompson is of course a 6'8" PF from Texas. Peterson I know nothing about, other than he's NBDL player.

I'm ecstatic that we're working out Burks. Seems to be a very interesting workout with him and Thomspon. I don't know much about the others except that Greg Smith is a fantastic athlete. Perhaps a guy to look at in the 2nd round (most likely our second one, although he'll likely be gone by then).

For some reason, this link insists that it's Klay Thompson, not Tristan Thompson.

As long as we're on Thompson news, Jason broke a bone in his foot and will be in a walking cast for 4-6 weeks. Yay for the lockout!

Hmmm! I got this info off a tweet, and apparently they tweeted the wrong Thompson. It looks like it is Klay Thompson since thats the Kings official release. Not a big deal since I doubt we'll draft either one. I was sort of interested in seeing how Tristan fared in the workout.. Oh well. As far as Jason, I started a thread with that info in the kingsfan fourm.

Would like to see them workout Singleton versus Leonard.

bajaden, i thought Thompson is 6'9", 6'8" is kind of short for a PF
Well it turns out that its Klay Thompson instead of Tristan Thompson. Too damm many Thompsons in the world. No offense Jason! But in regards to Tristan height, he measured out at 6'7.75" at the combine. So I guess you could call him 6'9" if you want, since in shoes he's just under 6'9" by a half inch of so. He does have a 7'1" wingspan, which isn't extrainordinary, but its not bad. Plus he's a very good athlete.

And here is the line-up card for Monday’s workout: Matt Howard (Butler), David Lighty (Ohio State), Gilbert Brown (Pittsburgh), Cory Fisher (Villanova), Papa Dia (SMU) and D.J. Gay (San Diego State).
