Can't do any in depth analysis of the Jazz game as I was busy with a very, very exciting Critical Analysis discussion (It's too bad that the internet can't easily detect sarcasm). It doesn't seem like I missed much however.

Tonight is a nationally televised game on TNT against a team that inexplicably has a worse record than us.

If you told me that a team with Baron Davis, Chris Kaman, Eric Gordon, and Blake Griffin (who has been amazing thus far) would be 2-13, I would have laughed at you and called you a liar. If you had also told me that this team was the Clippers, I would have asked you how they managed to win those two games.

That being said, at this point in time, we cannot give anything less than 100% in order to come away with a win.

Since I have family waiting for me, I'd like to conclude with

GO KINGS

Supposedly Kaman might be back for the game, but I imagine he won't play too many minutes. Good for us since Kaman abused us in preseason. TNT must be regretting this matchup for Thanksgiving day!

Heard Del Negro interviewed on the Grant show earlier today. The Clips coach ain't bad.. in fact, impressive communicator. I was thinking the whole time, hope Westphal is listening. Not for groundbreaking info, but to reaffirm the kings struggle.

Vinnie has a young underachieving team too... and some good vision on expectations and how to coach and communicate with them. I'm sure its nothing new to Westphal. In fact, I think we got a better coach... just wish we knew if he is getting through to the team as well as he comes across in interviews. You can coach all you want, and still if the team isn't absorbing it you got confusion.

Come on guys, time to pull your head out. Everybody's whispering and the rats are all sharpening their knives. No way to shut them up other than winning.

We might be the 2nd (Miami) or 3rd (Hou) most disappointing/underacheiving team in the league right now. FAR too much talent for this to be hapenning. Somebody has to step up, and on national TV on a national holiday = no better time.

If we could just for once be ahead by halftime I would be excited...hopefully Beno will come out in his customary Clipper-mode and hit some threes to make it happen.

What I'd like to see in this game:

1) Tyreke not falling down. Seriously he's been falling down every single game so many times and always heading to the locker room that it annoys me. I mean of course I'm worried but it is not fun to watch your best player having bad falls every single game

2) Ball movement please

3) Tyreke stepping it up on the offensive end. Again, without hurting himself.

Most points, rookie, game

Griffin has his eyes on this tonight no doubt.

Sadly, we won't have an answer to the pick&rolls Gordon and Griffin is gonna make... they killed the Knicks with it, and they'll kill us too.. Knicks won cause they got one of the best offensive plays in the game - the Kings on the other hand.........yea, exactly.

Normally i'm not negetive, but thats honestly what I think gonna kill us this game.

I'll be at the game today sitting a few rows behind the kings bench. I'll be taking pictures and yelling at Westphal when he's making stupid substitutions ;)

Tonight, let's start Beno, Head, Casspi, Thompson, and Cousins and let our starters come off the bench and give Evans a few games rest since he isn't helping us much. Everytime the Clippers get a five point lead put the bench in to stop it. I'm going to be one of the 27 people watching the game. Go Kings!!!!

Tonight let's start who?

The carousel has to stop, and thankfully I think it has. Our starters haven't been losing these last 3-4 games. They have to prove they can bring the defense on the road, but if they can, we'll be ok to start. Can we hold it is another question.

This one could get ugly. Griffin will absolutely feast on us and we won't be able to do anything about it but just sit back and enjoy the show. Kaman might be back in this one as well and that won't help things either since he always kills the Kings. I would not be surprised in the least if this is a blowout. If the Kings can play "defense" like they have been the last 2-3 games, we might be able to be in it. What we need to do is attack the Clippers inside, they have no shotblockers except DeAndre Jordan and he is foul prone. But then again, this is the Kings and the miserable offense coach Westphal has so we will see jumpers and many of em! I hope we don't get embarrassed tonight on national TV, I just hope for a hard fought game. That shouldn't be too much to ask, should it? 0_o

People are getting a little too overhyped on Griffin. Not that I don't think he's ROY frontrunner, and quickly emerging as a Top 10 and maybe even Top 5 PF, but he's not THAT dominant night to night yet. A great player, but this is not Shaq we are talking about. His numbers are very much in the same range as Milsap's, and we ddi not have any problems holding him down. Or Lopez, who again we held down. Daly is a really good big man defender. Our interior fate may well be determined by whether Kaman is back or not. If he is, its hard to hide Landry on himm and so he has to take Griffin. If Kaman is still out, or limited in minutes, then you might well be able to sick Daly on him, and that will make it tough for him to dominate.

I get what your saying. I do. But, like you and the rest of Kings nation know, Landry isn't exactly known for being a "defensive stopper". Griffin just happens to play the same position as Carl Landry, so I don't need to go any further than that. Griffin is just way too athletic for any of our players to contain him, if he happens to miss jumpshots you can live with that. Him dunking inside and getting put back dunks is something we need to contain.

Clippers have been playing well as of late. Griffin scares me because of who will be guarding him. We should be able to contain Kaman. Look for Head to chase around Gordon, I dont like Tyreke running around screens with that bad ankle.

I feel like I have been saying this every game for the past week now, but we really need the win tonight. The energy better be there, We have the spotlight. With a lot of people staying in tonight, and football ending around the 10:30 start time, more people will be watching the Kings than any other time the rest of the season. Lets get it.

You mean he's not Shaq, Webber, Bill Russell, Tim Duncan, and Wilt fused into Dwight Howard's body with freakish hops?
