Sometimes I feel like Westphal wants to lose and would ratheer let all the players participate than the ones who ar ona role. Casspi was playing outstanding defense on iguadala and made a couple shots. WHY take him out for udoka. Why tamper when things are working. Let me guess, sergio and nocioni will open the 4th quarter.

Its completely normal to sub out your starters with 3 mins left in the 1st.

I kind of agree with a lot of this. I think he needs to reduce his rotations down to 8-9 guys.

We were just as aggressive at the basket and magically, zero free throws?

Westphal has a hell of a job to do with the Kings. He has so many options to chose from, young talent to developed and minutes earned y pure hustler players like Brockman. He also has two great players in Tyreke and Martin who will take up a lot of the minutes.

I wouldn't want his job.

I've never really understood that. It's basketball, not Hockey. Why do they bench all five guys (or at best 4 out of 5) at once rather then switch out one or two guys at a time?

The cardinal rule of coaching is that you LEAVE a hot player on the court and bench the players who aren't playing well. Westphal doesn't seem to internalize this simple fact.
