As a follow up to the last post, I forgot to add a name. Art Parakhouski. A 6'11", 260 pound center from Radford. I've seen him play twice now. The first time against Kansas. And aside from the first half when he got into foul trouble, he just dominated Cole Aldrich. He's definitely got an NBA body and is more athletic than you orginally think. He pushed Aldrich around whenever he wanted, and blocked two of his shots.
He's a very dominating player in his conference. Therein lies the problem. My hope is that Radford makes the tourney and then we can see him up against some of the better centers out there. Presence wise and with his given stature he reminds me of Sabonis. Of course Sabonis was 7'3". At his current level he's a better scorer than Sabonis and also a better rebounder. He's a good passer, but not many centers could pass the ball the way Sabonis could.
Here's a site with his stats.
