I think Tyreke knows he's bigger and stronger than most of the pg's he plays against so it's good to drive against them but he's gotta watch out for the 6'7'' + forwards and centers he runs into trying to finish the play

A lot of good to take from this game. This young team just needs to play better in the 4th qtr, particularly down the stretch. They are capable of it, as evidenced by Monday's win.

The Kings played well against a good veteran team. They kept it close (and fun) for the majority of the game. If you are looking for a lot of wins, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for fun basketball by a very young team who is constantly improving, you will enjoy some exciting basketball.

tough loss.. good bounce back game for JT.. beno played great again.
Tyreke will learn alot from this game. He gained alot of experience here.
too many shots taken, and hes not to aware of NBA level shot blockers yet but he will learn. he played great defense.

I'm just upset that we drafted a PG that can't shoot, can't run the offense, and sucks from the line.

Eh...sucks to lose this game when we were in it the whole time, but another learning experience. To those who are saying 'so and so sucks', I think you REALLY need to take a step back and realize where we are as a team...we're still learning to BE a team, first and foremost, and even though we lack experience in alot of areas, the fact that we're at least being competitive while losing says SOMETHING...something more than was said in the last couple of years. No one's expecting us to win 40 or 50 games this year...or shouldnt be anyway, and if we only win 20-25 games, but do it competitively...then what more can you ask for. This is this team's freshman year in high school, gotta get the basics down first. I'm sure Tyreke was worried about his ankle quite a bit tonight, and he shot like crap and will learn the quality of shots he has to take to be effective for this team. Not sure why Brockman didnt play more tonight, but whatever...as long as this team learns one more thing about itself in a positive fashion that it didnt know before, then the loss was actually a win. Next year we will have more guns...remember, we'll have a good chunk of money, and another high draft pick to work with, to go along with a year of experience under the belts of our young guys.

It wasn't bad at all except for the final score. In fact, it was a fun one. This team is learning to play as a team. As they continue to anticipate each other, they will continue to improve.

This is an excellent perspective.

A putback in the middle of traffic isn't as easy it looks.
But it is definitely easier than what Jason made it in that sequence. Jason went up too excited/nervous and didn't take the split second to take real control of the ball and gauge how close to the basket he was. Instead he just threw it against the backboard assuming it was going to go in without thinking about it.

Lol. I wonder what the best case is with Tyreke. He probably will never become a good shooter, and probably wont be an assisting PG in his career... Freethrows is something he can learn to make...

The only positive i see so fr from him is that he's good at getting to the rim, but too bad he gets blocked 80% of the time.. Lol

This is totally untrue. He can shoot. He was 4/4 early in the game. He is learning to run our offense. He is a 19 yr old rookie for God's sake. A little patience will make our fan experience a lot more fun.

Tough loss against a quality playoff team. Played them well but their experience won in the end. Tyreke had a better game than the last one, but the explosiveness is still not there. He'll learn what he can and can't do in the NBA such as going up directly against shotblockers in the lane.

Damn! Jason had a real comeback game, and all we want to complain about is 1 lousy play.

He's a work in progress, it's just not fair to give up on a rookie pg after 5 games. He's a gamble of a pick, but he also has the most superstar potential out of this draft other than Griffin. Let him play, so what if we lose. We not making no playoffs this year anyway.

Don't forget he also sprained his ankle pretty bad a couple games ago (had to leave the game). Of course, the Rubio fans probably don't give a crap; they just looking for anything to criticize. If Rubio was drafted instead of Evans, I would have given Rubio my support.

Its a young team. You have to expect to have games like this, there will be a lot of them this year. We can't get to high after a win or to low after a loss.

Tyreke will only get better people!

martin played well again, scored 29 in 40 minutes... had 11 rebounds, no turnovers, 1 foul...

who was guarding crawford?

evans... well, he's a rookie. i didnt see the game so im not gonna say anything negative about shooting 7-21... 33% wow... how wellwould he play if he were 6'1 instead of 6'6? if iverson were 6'6 he wouldve been the next jordan instead of kobe or lebron.

hawes didnt play well, but luckily thompson did...

beno played well again, 14 points in under 30 minutes on 5-11 shooting...

The guy puts up 22 pts (47% FG, 89% FT)/12 reb/5 assists/0 TO/2 stl/1 blk, and he's pathetic because he missed one layup?

I dont care how much stats you put up during the game if you whack it up during crunch time. He is not a rookie, and should perform as such. Thompson sucked before tonights game, and he will likely go back to sucking after.
