For Hell's Kitchen :)

I had been trying to get on the show for like three years because they always seem to bring in the worst chefs and I always think I can do a lot better than what they do.. I did line cooking a few years back, and always wanted to try my hand at becoming a chef but never had the $$ to go to culinary school. I learned pretty much everything I know from line cooking, the internet, and a couple free courses.

This is the first time I made it to a casting call, so I am crossing my fingers. I talked to the casting director, and he said they have invited approx 50 chefs so I got a 1 in 5 chance or there about :D

Do you smoke? The reason I ask is because everyone on that show seems to be a chain smoker...I mean EVERYONE....they probably require it for some reason so if you don't you might wanna start! haha. On a more serious note, thats pretty awesome. I hope you get in so I can tell my parents that I associated with that guy on a Kings forum!

So, do you want us to start submitting recipies?

I liked ramen more than mac-n-cheese in college, and a friend of mine introduced me to a cheap meal I really enjoyed when I was scraping pennies together:

1-2 packages of cooked ramen noodles mixed with a can of heated chili. Makes a kind of spicy spaghetti. Good stuff. You could make a few meals out of it, if necessary.

His personal favorite way of dressing it up was adding a little cheese, but I preferred it straight up.

I can tell, with our help you are going to win this thing! :p

Cool man, I hope you get on. Maybe you could make these, from Europe..

They are called "French" fries. I've never heard of them but apparently they go with everything. Maybe cook some of these with along with Spike's suggestion
