Yeah dudes, I LOVE THIS TEAM, just the way it is.

Plus Shelden really has my curiosity up now. The glimpses of what he brings, I don' t know if the Kings have ever had what it looks like he brings (rebounding, shot blocking, down low banging and decent offense up to 18 ft) in the modern era (last 18-19 years).

Not to ruin the parade, but there was a guy by the name of Chris Webber who average 20 and 13 with a couple blocks in his first year at sacramento.

no way, a 6'10" then freak athlete power forward got a couple blocks per game!! sure makes him a banger down low and a big time shot blocker....rofl

go look at Marcus Camby. same height as webb, has very few hops left in his aging legs, and averages 4 bpg. double what webb could do in his prime

the guy you quoted meant, as he probably thought was obvious, was that wed have a real, big time shotblocker on the roster now. and one that can actually play offense too. i'm not saying we have Camby, but we might have the closest we actually have had in this era. maybe.

Agreed... but C-Webb is not exactly tearing up Oakland since arriving. I'd rather have Shelden Williams on my current roster than his old tired run down legs.

Tonight his Warriors beat Boston at Oracle Arena by a bucket getting very little from their new starting PF - 5 pts 4 board in 20 minutes. Once again Harrington came in to spell him and scored 22 w/ 12 boards. Baron had 29, Monte 26, Biedrins 21 w/13 boards. S. Jackson was DNP w/ foot injury.

It was reported that the W's had a commitment from Webber to stay in Oakland during the All-Star break to work-out and continue to get up to speed on his new teams plays. Instead, he went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for some fun in the sun:rolleyes:

Welcome deki! We have a couple of occasional posters here from Slovenia. Most of us Kings fans are very happy to have Beno ("the lefty") on our team and hope he'll be resigned.

i hope too, he'll be resigned....i think he's been playing the best basketball in his career.....and after this season, me and all slovenian basketball fans are expecting him to join our national team in qualification for Olympic games (Beijing) 2008....

(p.s....in our national team play: Rasho Nesterovic (Toronto Raptors), Bostjan Nachbar (NJ Nets), Beno Udrih (Sac Kings), Jaka Lakovic (Barcelona), Matjaz Smodis (CSKA Moscow), Erazem Lorbek (Lottomatica Rome), Sani Becirovic (Panathinaikos), Dragic (Olimpija Ljubljana), Marko Milic (Olimpija Ljubljana)...and others.....i'm sure you know this guys who play in NBA, and perhaps you know guys who play in best European clubs......)

and...i'm sorry for a little off topic...i just wanted to tell...

Welcome, deki. I know Napred Kraljevi is "Go Kings!" in Serbian. How do we say it in Slovenian?

Be sure and check the Lounge and add your name to the Kingsfans.com map AND the new member thread.

In Slovenia "Go Kings!" literally means "Naprej Kralji". It's similar to Serbian language.
