Well, at least we get 2 games each vs PHX and SAS out of the way the first month.

Rest of schedule is fairly even in the home-away mix. Here is how that breaks down:

So if Kings are getting to playoffs, having 6 of 9 at home in April is a help. Also only two 5-game road trips, the rest 4 or less. Overall not bad. Only downer is only 3 national TV games and 2 of those on NBA-TV. Kinda expected tho' considering last year. But ESPN can pickup games now when ever they want to take advantage of new rivalries.

Who will be a Kings rival this year? Lakers are a dead issue, so who??

Oh well atleast I might be able to go to the Denver game on my birthday since it's a weekend+at Sac the day before Christmas.

For real though, I think if we can make it through the 1st month or 2 on the schedule we should be all right. If we can be about .500 through there I think we have a good shot at the POs because we play a lot of bad teams in Jan+Feb.

Wow, it is straight back to the pariah days of old when we'd get our one national game a year just because it was contracturally mandated that everybody get one. Sucks for the tatters of the non-Sacto based fanbase. I remember a few years back when we were maxed out at over 20 national games a year, right up there with the Lakers.

I think I count about 16 back-to-back games, but they seem to be scattered, so it doesn't look like more than maybe one or two 4 games in 5 nights situations, which is nice. Looks like for the first time in years someone wasn't out to screw the Kings over with poor scheduling as far as those things go....

Tell the Maloofs that this is what happens when you suck. We used to be at or near the top of the NBA every year in nationally televised games. Doesn't seem that long ago, either.

Lots of Friday/Saturday/Sunday home games.

Not one Sunday afternoon home game.

Pretty good schedule for me. Monday and Thursday are my "bad" nights and there are only 7 home games on those weekdays - the least frequent dates on the schedule.

I like the schedule. NINE Friday nights! That's great.

I was hoping I wouldnt have to root for lins again this season...But Petrie/Maloofs inaction and dumb decisions have forced my hand!

As long as the kids get some time I'll be happy....Oh wait, we signed Mikki and havent unloaded any of our frontcourt..

Wow, it is straight back to the pariah days of old when we'd get our one national game a year just because it was contracturally mandated that everybody get one. Sucks for the tatters of the non-Sacto based fanbase. I remember a few years back when we were maxed out at over 20 national games a year, right up there with the Lakers.

Well i dont know about anyone else but i dont mind not having national games all the time like before...especially since we arent really that good. We had alot of national games last season and sucked and never got attention anyway, plus i prefer grant then some of the other terrible announcers out there. It didnt even feel like we had national games last season.

you had me going for a minute there, but I know for certain last year's two ending home games were NO and LA. And I don't remember last season being so "weekend friendly".
