Does anyone know if (on SopCast) if ESPN Sports is the same channel as just ESPN? Will I be able to see the draft on ESPN Sports? Help needed badly, I can't miss this draft! Thanks.

I just can't shake a feeling of darkness from over me.

There's such a small chance that someone of great use could fall to us (JianLian / B. Wright / Noah) and I have gotten myself phyched on the chance we could grab one.

But then I also pretty much know that those guys will al be drafted and we will be 'stuck' with yet another swingman type player.

Here's hoping for one of my 'Big Three'

Make it so, Basketball Gods...Make it so!

Ahhhh come on.. We can trade with Detroit (#10 for #15, and #26) and take Jason Smith, and Sean Williams. Smith can play C, and Williams can play some PF.

Anybody have any idea when the Kings pick will take place. I know they give like 5 or 10 mins between each draft for interviews and such. Told my wife I'd be home after the Kings draft and now she wants to know what time that's going to be.

Good luck. Tell her sometime after 6 and before 9 and hope for the best.

It might be a little earlier but they generally drag this stuff out as long as possible before they even start. The key will be the start time AND the amount of time each team has on the clock as few of them will announce their picks without adding to the "drama."

I was being somewhat sarcastic about the before 9 part. My best guess would be the #10 pick is announced sometime between 5:45 and 6:30.

I was gonna guess about 6:45 but that sounds about accurate. The NBA isn't quite as bad as the NFL where the first round lasts 6+ hours.

Okay, I went back into last year's draft discussion thread. Sene was picked at the #10 and it was announced at 5:36 p.m. PDT. So Oskor might be safe after all.

:)

Sounds good. But what I'm really hoping for is "And for the 3rd pick in the 2007 NBA draft.... we have a trade to announce". heh.... I can dream right?
