Saw Ocean's 13 today for... well, pretty much the obvious reasons. 
The return to Vegas was good for the franchise as they recaptured a lot of the fun of the first film. Also managed to avoid getting bogged down by any unnecessary romantic sub-plot(s). Pretty much doubt there's anyone who doesn't know exactly what to expect from the commercials, but it was very enjoyable.

I went back and watched this classic movie from 1995.
i really liked that one. i remember all the controversy about it when it first came out. definitely a classic. only bad thing in my book is that it gave rosario dawson her start (booooo).
i recently saw apocolypto and thought it was pretty good. didn't deserve some of the harsh criticism it received. no braveheart to be sure, but pretty good.
I moved my PS3 over to my theater room last night and watched Talladega Nights which came with it. It was ok I guess, I laughed a bit at the beginning but at the end I recall myself saying "This is the dumbest movie ever" out loud at least once I think I am going to go on a Blu-Ray kick now as I have cleared out most of the good stuff on my DVR.

Wasn't sure I would like this film at my age, but Knocked Up was probably the funniest movie I have ever seen. You start out laughing and there is no inbetween--you are still laughing when it ends.
I also saw Waitress--it was a good movie. I mostly see the independent films and rarely a "blockbuster." Annie.

Spent the last few days getting caught up on my backlogged Netflix queue... watched Saw III which worked the most out of the three movies for me, Casino Royale and The Departed (both great). All on Blu-Ray which looks amazing. Should have moved my non-gaming gaming system into the theater months ago
