what was the last movie you watched?

Been on kind of a John Waters kick lately. In the last few days, I've watched Hairspray, Cry Baby, Female Trouble, Desperate Living and Polyester. I was also thinking Pecker might be a good one to watch today.

Sigh... I feel like such a deviant. :D

Also rented Lucky Number Slevin, which I got sucked into but it could have been better, and Thank You For Smoking, which was very funny.

Been on a Sam Peckinpah kick this weekend, just got a copy of the restored directors cut of Pat Garet & Billy the Kidd, and watched Straw Dogs last night... great stuff!

SAW3...

And Im dissapointed...The movie finally jumped the shark for the SAW series...Pretty much all the torture scenes were either incredibally lame (Pig and Freeze) or just plain unbelievable (Ribcage and Chain).

I will say it's a bit more thought-provoking, as the main torture scene involves a man who is in a different situation than what is the normal SAW victim is in...He's not there because he's a slacker, or he cheats on his significant other , or he does drugs...It's something you wouldn't expect.

Of course there is the SAW twist at the end, and it doesn't dissapoint...Every one of the main characters involved at the very end has something happen that you don't expect...It's still nowhere near as good as the original SAW's ending, though, but better than the SAW2's

Finally saw The Departed and really enjoyed it. Great flick. Next time, I may pass on the thousands of reviews before hand raising expectations, but still a great movie. Instant classic. Loved Walburgs character, cast was impressive and right on point.

Master of the Flying Guillotine on Showtime, friggin cool movie.

Homer Fan Since 1985
I just joined Netflix and watched my 1st movie tonight. I saw United 93. Whew! Intense!! But, I thought it was quite well done. I was most impressed, however, how they depicted the chaos that permeated the air traffic controllers, the FAA, and NORAD. What a day....a day that has changed all of our lives. :(

Borat.

While it had it's moments, it was a big let-down for me...I expected to be laughing all the way through, but it was just plain stupid at times..

Im not to sure Ill be in the DVD line for Borat.

As Borat would (Or wouldn't) say.

"Moderate Success!"

My last film was "an inconvenient truth". This movie makes the people think. We were only four seeing the movie, so that time, that movie made 4 people think.

We finally saw "Cars" after Thanksgiving dinner. It's such a cute movie, and I love how so much of the humor is geared toward adults. That and it's probably the longest our youngest has sat still for quite some time! LOL
