Kings vs. Lakers in Vegas! (aka Beat LA!!!)

Living in the LA area this is the first chance I get to see the '06 Kings. Can't wait.

...and does it even matter that it's pre-season??

BEAT LA!!!!

I know its only preseason, but I want our roster invites/scrubs to whoop their roster invites/scrubs' butts!;)

I can see it now...Justin Williams packs Lamar Odom.

^ As I've said before, according to LakersGround.net, the Lakers have the best bench in the league, are the best passing team in the league, have the best PG on the team since Magic Johnson (although most of the board hated the pick), and a guaranteed 2008 title team. Not only that, but the majority wouldn't have hypothetically traded Bynum for Artest straight up. Lemme see.......OH! Also, the Lakers have "bigger fish to fry" than Sac now (despite finishing only a game or so ahead in the standings). As far as PHX, "our strategy against them has not been exposed" last nite (hilarious).

I'm anti-junior high poster on ANY site. If you are of that age and you misinterpret the above as my own commentary, I will bludgeon you with my cane.

Wow. According to some random site for Laker fans the Lakers have the deepest bench in the league?

FYI, the Lakers are garbage. Mihm is not that good. Bynum is a kid. Cook is a softie. Vujacic is not good. Luke Walton is Luke Walton. McKie? Green? It should be called a lack-of-depth chart for you guys. Not to mention that your starters have ?'s except for Kobe and Vlad. Oh wait, I just found out Vlad got injured.

Come back to reality. If you had won a couple less games last year, or if we had traded for Ron Artest earlier, then your Lakers would have been swept by the Spurs. Your "biggest fish to fry" is the Clipps because they are gonna slowly take over your city. Listen, you were fortunate to get a 7th seed last year and the only decent offseason moves you made were signing Vlad and releasing George. Guaranteed title contender? Hahaha. More like guaranteed comedy.

Oh no.

I just want you to know that I am NOT going to step in and prevent Gargamel from caning you.

Reread his post.

Haha. I think he was seeing red by the time he got to the disclaimer.

EDIT -- I will say that the only way that Clip thing would've happened is if Bryant signed with them back in 04. Then all of his player fans would've jumped ship like rats (the silver lining).

BEAT L.A. like a red-headed stepchild.

By the way, there are electric guitar strings called "Red-Headed Stepchild". Not sure I get the metaphor.

For the new folks:

One of the most enduring traditions around here is the BEAT LA thread. Add your BEAT LA chant to the list.

The game is supposed to be on NBATV right? I checked on the menu last night and it said NBATV was playing "hardwood classics" tonight at 7. Anybody else see this? I'm gonna be pissed if I miss tonight, especially since I couldn't see the last game since league pass hasn't kicked in yet.

Oh yeah

BEAT LA!
