Geez, I hope GP has something up his sleeve.
I really think the Bibby, Bonzi, Artest trio has more potential than we have seen. I am looking forward to watching that progress. Hopefully that will be our this year (with a big man???). It would kind of be a shame to not allow that to flourish. Bonzi dissers beware - you are buying a questionable package (at least for next year). I think it is clear that we need to keep Bonzi and trade KT or BM (or both?) depending on what GP can work out.

Agreed on the potential part...but I doubt GP can work anything out for KT, as far as trading him, due to his contract, so we're stuck with him, more than likely...and Brad hopefully will nut up this summer while playing with Team USA and start to act like a legit 7 footer and not a small forward...as far as getting anyone big at the center spot, Brad is about as good as we're gonna get in return, for anyone...for what its worth. I think Bonzi is a gonner, and whatever help we get defensively/big man-wise will come from whatever we get in return for Bonzi. Who knows, though...only GP, actually.
This is taking entirely too long. Bonzi must be unhappy that the Kings will not pay him what he thinks he is worth. Maybe Geoff is trying to find someone for a S&T. If that is what is happening, and it is taking this long, then Petrie must really be working hard to either: a)Get Bonzi what he wants in salary, and/or b)make sure that we get someone in return that is worth letting Bonzi go. Either way, that would be a sign of respect for Bonzi, as well as a smart business move. I am still trying to trust Geoff. He has done a good job for us to this point (with a few snafus, of course ).

Bobcats wings: Morrison/Wallace (both will NOT be on the bench)/Alan Anderson/Matt Carroll/Bernard Robinson
Hawks wings: Josh Childress/Joe Johnson/Josh Smith/Marvin Williams - Johnson and one of Smith/Marvin will be Starting at SF. They won't hinder those two intriguing, good prospects development.
Raptors, obviously not: Mo Pete/Graham/Tucker (bonzi-esque)/Parker/soon Fred Jones/Bargnani at SF sometimes.
Indiana: Harrington/Granger/Daniels/Sarunas/Jackson/Marhsall/White/Williams - I bet they try to move Jackson, and maybe Sarunas out of that group. Not sure Indiana wants to keep all their young players that can play SG on the bench for the next 3-4 years. Though Marshall may not be on the final roster. Quite a stacked scene regardless if Marshall's there or not though.
Denver: JR Smith - I think they'll be committing to him as the starter. If not? Well that could get ugly and JR Smith might start pouting and complaining about oppurtunities and playing time again. Besides, Bonzi's not a shooter - they currently don't have one quality/proven/good jumpshooter on the team. 'Melo's is pretty good, but only in the mid-range.

Although I DO trust the roumer that a S&T is being discussed, I still think the longer the wait the better the chances that Bonzi will be back. Taht being said I would not mind a S&T at all IF it brings a quality big. I don't very many gaurds in the NBA being an upgrade for the Kings needs espcially in the rebounding department.
