Tele, Your remark reminds me of instant gratification, fan-wise. As I wrote earlier, recall the cautionary example of the team last season - @ 20-23, an even better mark further into the season what then had happened. The elusive .500 winning percentage, had slipped away and faded out over the next 15+ games. With the car analogy, The Kings ran out of gas for whatever reasons. Will they run out of gas this year? Maybe, maybe not, but setting up a camera at the finish line when there's still 120 laps to go is silly. I'm just hoping in the next 10 laps they improve their position against the cars around them, and even more so, stay with the lead pack (obtain and sustain a .500 winning percentage) .
I'm willing to take my chances on premature rooting this year even if I'm the one that comes down with the rash. But if you are the cautious type, feel free to sit on the sidelines until the playoffs are official.
