And no, satisfy a potentially over involved owners curiosity isn't a good reason to get a d-league team. You could do that at the local y with a rec team. You would think that's how it works, but that doesn't appear to be how the Kings are running things.

I don't think it's just the Kings. Even just looking at the game scores, it appears defense isn't part of the plans of most teams.
