[Game] 10/10/13 - Kings @ Lakers (in Las Vegas) - pre-season 7:00 PDT

One of Vasquez/IT/Ray is not going to be in the regular rotation. Will be interesting to see how this plays out but all three likely will deserve 20-25 mins per game yet that isn't possible, unless we rehire Smart.

It's early, but Ray seems to have the most control of the game thus far in pre season and has impressed a bit of defense.

Jim Buss is the greatest thing to have happened to the Pacific Division in the last few years.

This fool has no idea what he's doing with his team. What a mess, and Nash/Kobe aren't going to turn this thing into a contender. Good for us.

If you live in Northern California and haven't gotten your ticket for opening night yet, do it soon. This team is gonna be fun...and opening night will be something to remember.

GO KINGS!!!!!

I really enjoy watching the two rookies play out there, they sure are fun to watch. They also try really hard and go 100% every possession it seems, I love it. It can become contagious, let's hope..

Well, Outlaw and Hayes just threw their names into the hat for playing time. Also, McCallum and McLemore are making it tough NOT to give them 20-25 MPG right away. Which certainly affects what happens with Gv-IT-Thornton, who all should be getting 25 MPG themselves

Kinda like what Outlaw said about Coach Jent telling him to not "jump so high" on his shot release and just let it "flow." Then Travis said, our "Captain Cuz" has been keeping everyone focused - wow!

I think IT is going to be gone soon. Possibly before the trade deadline. How about Outlaw? Once deemed Travis shouldbeOutlawed, he really showed up. I have no problem with a MAM/Outlaw combo at SF and moving johnny fish to the end of the bench. That is if Travis can keep this up

Outlaw played very very well. but i am in no way shape or form ready to deem this guy a starter or even in the rotation yet based on ONE performance in the PRESEASON

The 2 rookies play better defense and they are this staffs rookie picks......you know they will get their time.

28 ast could have easily been 40 if not for missed shots. Ball movement is excellent. ray will make some noise next year as to who the pgs are. Bmac will make some noise by Christmas if he continues to improve. The two rookies defense already beats out some of our vets

I agree. I think most Kings fans agree including Kings coaches. That's why they play all these pre-season games especially to see what this roster will look like. But with SF such a BIG question mark, let the competition shake out over remaining pre-season games.

Beating the Lakers, even in the preseason is sweet. Team looked really good.
I've said this before, and by god, I'll say it again: I don't care if it's playoffs, regular season, preseason, summer league, rec league, YMCA league, 3-on-3, HORSE, hopscotch, checkers, T-ball, dominoes, go fish or a sack race, I want the Kings to beat the gd lakers. Beat 'em down, beat 'em down, beat 'em down!

Well no. But Outlaw certianly threw his name in that race with tonights game. He played EXACTLY how we want our role guys to play.

He won't shoot that well every night obviously, but I don't think he took a bad shot on the night. And all of his looks were spot-up jumpers. Not him trying to create, like he did the previous 2 years

Agreed. But I did notice that Outlaw played within the offense kicking out or catch and shoot. This helped spacing the floor. Last year he was a ball hog that shot too much and killed the offense. Maybe the difference is that the coaches made sure to tell him exactly what they expected of him.
