Yogi decision should come today or the 4th

Since we've gone over the cap with the Holmes signing, there's no advantage to waiving Yogi other than saving ownership cash. He's still a solid backup option if a PG gets injured at any point and could be a trade piece.

Unless we have too many people on the roster I can't see why we'd waive him. Assume of our 3 2nd rounders we'll stash the Euro guy for a year or two and at best give the others 2-way deals.

Joerger definitely under utilized him, which is another thing to consider when making this decision. Of course if we let him or Mason go, watch them take off elsewhere

The other possibility would be doing Yogi a favor if he'd rather look for a bigger role with another team. Vlade has done those sorts of good will moves in the past.

But personally I'd like to see him stay.

Yogi should def stay over Mason if he’s ok with being third PG off the bench. Mason was garbage all season and couldn’t run the team to save his life. The fact that he’s still playing in Summer league for his third straight time tells you all you need to know.
