Yes? or No?

I've been wondering what you guys think about this series...

Will the Kings win it? or not?

(answer with a "YES" or a "NO" answer.)

Of the performance that Seattle played Game 2, I'm not leaning on Yes OR No, because we can win the 2 games.. but then again im not exactly sure that we will make it. Yet, I still have faith.

Realistically take a look at the players on the playoff roster and compare them to the other teams. We have a combination of new players and players that came back from injuries. You cant realistically expect the team to suddenly gel and play well consistently in a 7 game series. Answer is NO, but who knows anything can happen :D

now only 20% possibility, so there is still a chance

Its actually 5%. 95% of teams who go up 2-0 in a 7 game seires have won. something like 168 out of 173 or something like that. Saw it on TNT.

But anyways... Yes. We will win the series.

YES, YES! Even if we down 3, yes! Even if we lost 4 games, for golly gosh yes! Okay maybe not that much of a yes, but yeah, I still feel strong for them, and if they've lost this series to an ugly sweep. I love them Kings. Go Kings!

OK, 4 would be pushing it.:p

Seriously, being down 0-2, while certainly never the position you would want to find yourself in, is not impossible. However, I don't think it really matters what WE believe, I don't think this team believes. I don't see it in their eyes, and I certainly don't see it in their play. They look tentative and there is no swagger.

Its hard to beat a team FULL of players playing for offseason deals. They are trying to impress all the GM's in the league that they deserve to be paid this summer.

Good post. And this, in my opinion is the real problem. The players are lacking a team identity, they are lacking a leader, and they are lacking a confidence is themselves as a "team" because they haven't been a team long enough. They looked pretty dejected after last night's loss. I'm hoping we see a whole new look, and a whole new team on Friday night, but without some confidence, arrogance and a little swagger, it's going to be hard to pull off a win in this series.

Well, it might not be a bad idea for the players on OUR team to begin thinking that same way. Make no mistake, they should be thinking of this as an audition.

i think we can pull of 2 in sacramento! thomas and skinner need to step it up! if we pull of 2 and even out the series its gonna put some pressure on seattle for game 5!

no kidding. there are going to be changes made this summer, and playoff performance may be one of the key factors when management is deciding who they want the core of this team to be.

99.99% no

First we would have to win the next 4 in a row. unlikely considering our play as of late.

Reason I say we have to win 4 in a row is because I think we have no chance to win game 7 on the road with this team as is.

I hope I am wrong.

the lakers did it last year.....

with Shaq and Kobe. I don't mean to be pessimistic, and I think there is a chance we can pull this off, but I don't think our talent level is anywhere near the Lakers of last season.

Negative.

They'll probably stretch it to 6 games. The bottom line is that the Kings are an unfinished product right now (since the Webber/Christie trades). I think Petrie quietly closed shop on this season with those deals. Plus, Seattle has played arguably the best team ball this year relative to their talent. They were the favorites going into the series. Finally, Sacto had a slim margin for error and it is critical that they get great performances out of Bibby, Peja, and Miller. They haven't gotten that for 2 games.

I see us winning 2 games at home for sure. but in terms of winning the whole thing, i think theres a 50/50 chance. but yeah.... Its going to a 6 or a 7 game series.

0-2 isn't the end of the world....let's remember the red sox/yankees last year, sox comming back from 0-3. Also, all Seattle has done is what they're supposed to do, protect home court. If the Kings go and get both at home, like they should, then we're right back in it.
