Season Summary:
This will be known as the season, Reggie Evans officially got old. Reggie had an average season by his standards. Led the team in rebounds per minute (shocker), actually cracked 60+ FT% for the first time in his career, and had the second best +/- off the bench behind Andre Miller. (-0.07 vs -0.06). Also interestingly enough was the second most likely player to pass the ball behind Andre Miller (78% vs 80%). However, he was no longer able to defend. Players shot an average of 6.6% better against Reggie than their average, worst on the team. (Even worse than Stauskas.) Also he was one of the worst in the league on scoring on put backs.
Advanced Stats Glossary:
T_MIN = Total Minutes. The seconds are converted to decimal values out of a 100 to make querying easier.
DIFF/MIN = Differential per Minute
T_DIFF = Total Differential
REB/MIN = Rebounds per Minute
UFG% = Unguarded Field Goal Percentage. Unguarded means there is no one within 3.5 feet.
CFG% = Contested Field Goal Percentage. There is at least one defender within 3.5 feet.
DFG% = Field Goals defended at rim percentage.
AT_RATIO = Assist to Turnover ratio. This includes passes that lead to free throws and the pass that lead to an assist, so it will seems inflated.

Player Comparison:
I decided to compare Reggie to Brandon Bass since they have similar rebounding number, they are the same size and Brandon Bass has been in potential trade threads. From the stats you can see Reggie no longer has the strength to defend in the post or score on put backs.

Season Highlight:
12-08-14 VS Utah
This was the game we won without Cousins because they played Kantner 30+ minutes. Reggie started the game and had 13 boards and we outrebounded the Jazz by 10.

Season Lowlight:
12-05-14 VS Indiana
This was the Landry put back game. I went with this one even though we won, because A) He missed all of his shots and free throws B) Only tallied 7 boards in 25 minutes (worst of the season) C) Had the worst +/- at -16.

Next Steps:
Possibly coaching, I wouldn’t mind having him around as Cousins personal assistant/motivator.
Possible Replacement:
Again, I hope all his minutes get absorbed by Eric Moreland or (Towns, fingers crossed)
Season Grade:
C, Reggie did his best and was a good for morale. However, again we just needed too many minutes out of him.
General Manager Grade:
B, getting a useful veteran in a salary dump gets you a B. Of course pulling one over on Billy King might is the GM equivalent of tripping over your own feet.
