Stern goes on for an hour about different things and it's a good listen. If I remember right, he says that he's optimistic about the Kings staying in Sacramento right after talking about contraction.
 
Ah, the joys of revenue sharing. All of a sudden your friends are your enemies because your mere existence directly effects their bottom line.
 
Yeah, I posted this in another thead. Funny that theyre making a big deal over Sterns comments on contraction, when he didn't even bring it up. Simmons did. I thought Stern handled the question just fine, and came away with the feeling that he thought contraction is and idea to be looked at, but which owner wants to volunteer. He discouraged the idea of contracting New Orleans, and one would think that NO would be the prime suspect, since its owned by the league.

Personally I think its more of a threat to the Players Association than anything else.
