Yahoo! Kings Team Report

Umm, not saying that Whiteside is a great offensive player or anything, but...

He’s not an offensive threat at all, despite his size, averaging just 1.4 points at Marshall.

WTH were they looking at? He averaged 13 points! :p

I don't really see the rest of the article supporting that Tyreke's "attitude doomed him." Like if he was all chipper about sitting injured on the bench, they were going to keep him?

What does it mean his "attitude". Although we are not there in person, I hope all this success isn't getting in his head.

Based on the article that he was depressed that he was hurt and couldn't practice, nothing about ego or whatever.

I think they were looking at points per shot, which was 1.39, at least if you accept rounding error from per-game averages. But that's pretty darn sloppy. As was suggesting that Tyreke's attitude played any role in keeping him off Team USA. But it's the offseason - what else is there to do but read poorly researched team reports from bored sportswriters and point out how bad they are?

That was really apiss poor effort all around. Not only inaccuracies that should never have gotten through, but almost something appraching a slant to it? Itf it weren't so damn lazy feeling I could almost believe it was intentional. Talk about not only missing the point, but seemingly not even caring to look for one. Just very disappointing given it was a major outlet.

Am wondering why the OP chose to highlight a fairly ridiculous line they threw in there -- its pretty bad when you throw such an aspersion, and in the very next paragraph print quotes that make it look ridiculous.

^ I concur that it was a pee poor article. It didnt seem to capture the current state of the Kings team AT ALL. It read as a negative evaluation.
