Worst Kings player ever

Depends what you're looking for. Worst talent-wise? (or lack thereof): Take your pick from among the various 12th-15th men we've trotted out, especially during the dark ages.

I tend to conjure up the biggest busts. Guys we thought could come in and at least contribute, and instead did diddily squat. Nick Anderson being among them.

Duane Causewell.

I remember Jerry Reynolds always saying in regards to drafting him, "You can't teach 7 feet!" and I always thought it was oddly true, cause Cause never learned a damned thing.

It was only one year, but what about Greg Kite?

There was the "Les is less" year back in 92 when Les Jepsen was taking up space and Jim Les was running around the arc jacking up threes.

In terms of busts there was Out of Service Pervis and Joe "We could have had Karl Malone" Kleine.

But for me it comes down to the Duh brothers. There was Duh-ane Causewell who really did look completely confused at all times and there was Duh-wayne Schintzius who, during the 92-93 season, added up to 14 feet worth of the crappiest center tandem I can recall.

But I have to give the nod to Schintzius not just for his awful play, but for his spectacularly bad mullet. Check this out:

I agree with Pervis, Klien, Kite, etc. Those were the first guys that came to my mind as well. I would throw Mike Peplowski in there had he not saved Bobby Hurley from dying the night of his accident. Randy Bruer could be considered as well.

However, my #1 worst Kings player of all time has to go to........................

Toss-up between Les Jepson and Schintzius.

1. O.P. - Just a complete Jackass, got arrested for impersinating a police office, maybe he was dislexic, O.P. - P.O.?
2. Never Nervous Pervous, just the simple fact that we wasted the number one pick on this guy is enough to make him number 1.
3. Ricky Berry - He shot himself after showing a year of promise and one sweet 4 point play!

Reggie Theus, hahahahaha, only because when asked a question regarding sacramento fans and some other stuff, his answer was "screw'em" so whenever we saw him or see him now, we say "screw'em Reggie" and he looks at us and just smiles.............

Greg Ostertag.

Guy was out of shape basically the whole summer and season when we could of used him as a decent prescence. Wasn't that bad at all for Utah in 05-06.

Chucky Brown

yep. the guy who played for 12 different teams in his 13 year career.

I also find it strange that the other two guys that have tied his record also played for the Kings. T-mass and Jimmy Jackson

I was going to pick him for my worst but I didn't want to be cursed.

I change my vote to Brent Price. -- He spent his entire 2nd as a King sitting at home.
