With 8 to go Kings are so close that they can smell the "X" I for one can not wait to get it over with. I am getting tired of following all the games with possible implications. Let's just win "tomorow" ant take care of it. With a win tomorow - we could "kill" 2 birds with one shot. Clinch PO which we will do anyways - no later than next week, and book the early vacation for the Wolves. It would not be a compleate pay back but at least the downpayment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ABC sucks !!!! Not only - they will not show the Kings game in 80 % of the country but also - nobody else can show it at hte same time. As a protest - I will not watch ABC tomorow ( yeah, I know it will break their heart). Additionally BW is going to be in the studio and listening to him without Kings being involved is just not an option.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Couple things I want to mention from the last game. First - I hate big leads because they are never safe. Now, while I never really thought that we would lose, I did think about the consequences of such a loss in general. It would extremely suck. Also, in the previous game against Pistons - I was questioning the intelligence of athletes. It happenes again, but this time there might be some responsibility by the coaching stuff too. Why do You have to change the game suddendly having a big lead ? Why do You have to look at the clock ? Why do You go away from the stuff that worked all night ?
D. Gooden is anything but a good shooter. He hit 2 threes all season long and hit 2 more last night. Lucky us - I guess. Finally, LBJ is a good player but he gets away with travel and carrying the ball - all the time. It makes him unguardable. Works for NBA - where the rules do not apply for everybody. I still remember Olympics where he could not understand - why they called it every time. My piont - why do we have the rules - when they are not applied ?
.......................................................................................................
Wolves - a very solid - upper lottery team ;) - which we have our troubles with in the past - is fighting for their "lives" It makes them dangerous and we have to respect that. We rebound - we win - that is how simple it will be tomorow.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - nice showdown with Pipi and Golumn. All 3 of them would easyly make "all NBA 0 defense team". Mike has played solid against both of them. Let's hope - he hits the FTs
Pedja - last time this season that he will see Hassel. Maybe, just m,aybe he can be successful for once.
Mobley - Can he be a Wolves killer too ?
Skinner - hopefull feeling better. Will need him today
Thomas - who is he going to guard and how ?
Darius - foul trouble again ?
House - nice 2 quarter again ?
Williamson - can he post up again while being under controll ?
Tag - is he going to change the game again ?
Evans - finally another great game. Can we get the same with a little more controll ?
Daniels & Martin - probably not.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - can he find a way to get Pedja involved early ? Can he find a good rebounding lineup ? Can he for once call a time out befor the opponent goes on a big run ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves - always dangerous, always play well at ARCO. Hoiberg and Griffin play us very well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go Suns!!!!!! (Rockets)
Go Cavs!!!!! (mavs)
Go Warriors!!!!!!1(sonics)

Bottomline: Kings need this win

BLAST! I put Peja as my leading scorer in the prediction thread, not thinking of Hassell.

Oh well, I think the Kings will win this on the back of another huge game by Bibby. Thomas will also have a nice game, because he will wreak mismatch havoc.

GO KINGS!

Wolves had a nice run, but this is differnet. This is the Kings, this is at ARCO and most importantly the Kings need to be getting in to some kind of play off groove.
Bibby... the floor general need to get Pedja and Cat started early and make Gollum pay for being old and broke down
Cat... If the jumper is not going he HAS to make more cuts to the hoop. Also think assists, think assists.
Pedja... has to keep Wally honest and most of all needs to move with out the ball
Kenny... out matched compleetly. Just do your best, KG will get his try to keep him running.
Skinner... Hope he is 100% He can make life a little easier for Kenny by burning Candyman inside and forcing Garnet to play low on defense
Darius... another tough game out of position at the 5 and out mtched at the 4, but buck up and hit the jumper so the defense has to play out or risk a one on one game against Skiner or Kenny.
Mo... nice to see you back in action against Cleavland. Keep it up
Nasty... could have a big game Wally and Spree are too slow and the other 3's are too small his one on one game... out of position at the 4 migh be tough.
Tag... could make life miserable for Candy and GK by hogging the paint, but will need min to do it.
House... keep shooting, it'swhat your good at.

Team must rebound and move the ball side to side. The Wolves will make some good runs but their defense is slow, strong boarding leading to fast breaks and pushing the ball sould make the fossils crumble.

Gotta win this one guys, let's play some great ball. I will be asleep to protest ABC's bad decision making as far as games go but will dream about winning. Catch the details later. Good luck and GOOOOO KINGS!!!!!!

Sprewell will be our best weapon, just force the ball into his hands and watch all the bricks he chucks up at the rim ! :D
a) - I remember Spreewel having good games against us

b) - You do realize that when a player is in a career slump - all he needs to do to get out of it - is to play Kings (Drew Gooden hit 2 threes couple nights ago)

I didn't followed Minesota's games but I think that Hassell is not starter anymore and that he doesn't have more than like 20 mins?!
We'll see duel KG Vs. Thomas,I hope that Kenny can stop Garnet. If we win this game we'll be closer to the 5th position and Minesota will be closer to the 9th place, which is good thing! :D
GO KINGS!

P.S.Can somebody tell me when the Playoffs starts?

If we keep Garnett from getting a 30-20 type performance we SHOULD win. Someone will probably have a career day against us, hopefully not Sprewell or Cassell cause their still capable of getting INFUEGO. It just hasn't happened all year(which scares me) MAGIC NUMBER=3
GO KINGS!

I may be wrong but I think if we win today and 1 more game (or the Twolves lose 1 after today loss) then we clinch a playoff spot. :)

If we lose today then the playoff picture gets a little tighter. I still think unless we have a total collapse that we are in but its almost time to worry.

I want to see the little x- next to our Kings in the standings

GO KINGS!!!!

Yep..if we win today, the magic number is 1!

Very big game...although I think it's a bigger game for Wolves because this is probably their last game for hope of the playoffs. So I will not be surprise if Wolves come out with lots of energy.

Come on, Kings!! Score+Rebound+Play D+limit TOs+EFFORT = WIN!!!!

GO KINGS!!

Omg just three days of the rest?!That is heavy.Every year less and less days of the break...
good news is we get a 4 day rest after the lakers game next sunday. We don't play again until that next friday and it is against the lakers again. Looking at the schedule. We have more rest in the last 2 weeks than anybody else. We also don't play a back to back on the last 2 games of the regular season. Most of the team do.
