Wolves @ Kings Game Thread

I turned off the TV broadcast after Kings got off to a horrible 1-12 shooting start and switched to the G-Man on radio. Later after the half drifted back over to TV and saw A. Tsai and switched it off again. What a treat to listen to the G-Man and Jason Ross on the radio. I may never go back to watching Kings TV again since even hearing Grant and Gerry will never come close to the steller 23 year voice of the Kings - THE G-Man!

Was it just my impression or did the kids play quality minutes with lineups that actually made sense?

Yeah I think so. I really like that he didn't make a sub near the end of the 4th when the T'Wolves got a bit closer. He left JT et al. in. Good signs.

I love the way Kenny didn't undermine what the players learned from Reggie. It seemed like he stuck to the same rotations and PT to a t. I think the players fought hard in this game because they like Reggie and played in his honor- this was, after all, Reggie's system. Sad that he is responsible for the win, yet he is gone :(

At one point in the game Grant and Jerry were saying how the rotations haven't changed at all mainly because Natt hasn't had the time to yet. I disagree. Although subtle i saw a few changes mainly in the playing time of JT
Brown and most of all Greene. I know partially because he wants the rest of our guys rested for tomorrow, but none the less i saw extra minutes that i wouldn't of expected. I noticed most when Greene picked up 3 quick fouls before he really had a chance to do anything...at that point i believe Theus would have probably pulled him but Natt kept im in the game, which led to Greene giving us a little offensive show. Good job all around tonight. Tomorrows the real test of improvement thoe. GO KINGS!:)

Greene did not even get into the game until the very end of the first half. Taken alone, this game would be a very bad sign for his minutes. It was only the blowout that saw him reach double figures.

True hopefully the practices coming up change that fact around. But he won't be a good coach until he is giving MM some DNP's.
