Wizards looking for cap space

I like the idea of

dealing Thomas for Jamison straight up if we can find a taker for Nocioni(ahem Boston/SA).

Jamison, Thompson and Hawes is a REALLY good frontcourt rotation, our offense gets better, he can spread the floor AND he's a GREAT defensive rebounder at the 4.

AND we'll be paying him $15 million when he's 35.

I like Jamison. He's on my fantasy team. I don't want him on the Kings.

Yeah, when the dust settles after the blow up (and it's coming) I expect McGee to be one of the few pieces left to build around.

Yeah thats the problem. I really like Jamison as a player, but he's just too old at this point. He's about to turn 34.

Not only is Jamison too old, but really liking him as a player is a mistake too -- he has always lost. Always will lose. He's a soft tweener. Back when he could play SF it was at leat interesting. As an aging PF? Does nothing for us.

Whatever we do, any major move has to have about a 30yr old cap on it, and preferably somehting more like 27.
