Yeah the last time we had a rookie contribute that much this quick his name was Demarcus Cousins.
so the last time we drafted a #15 from Kentucky. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmYeah the last time we had a rookie contribute that much this quick his name was Demarcus Cousins.
Just one question.
Can you spell his name right next time?
Let's go WCS!!!
Pretty sure Cousins was drafted after Evans. What about Reke Havoc?
Pretty sure Cousins was drafted after Evans.
It has been a while since we had a player that made playing defense look this exciting. His energy level infected the entire team from the get-go. So glad Vlade picked him up!
You can say that again. WCS was actually the only player I wanted in the whole draft. I didn't even dream that the answer will come this fast. He's going to be the new Drummond, but I think his ceiling is higher.
WCS was awesome tonight. Exactly why I and many others here wanted us to draft him.
The amount of shots he altered tonight won't show up in the box score but had a big impact. Guys didn't even want to go into the lane while he was on the court.
The offense was just gravy.
Karl was right to give WCS his debut in game 2 instead of in the opener. It was so great for him to get his confidence up like that. Now it will be very interesting to see how he does in the Clippers rematch!
I was on board with this draft pick from the jump. Particularly if Rondo performs, nobody will be saying we should have taken Mudiay, even if Mudiay does well.
