Why couldn't Ray Allen, Radmanovic, and Lewis get hurt against us?

The Sonics are breaking down against the Spurs....first Radmonovic sprains his ankle, 1.5 minutes after Allen sprains his (both out for the game), then in the 3rd Lewis gets hurt.....they're getting swept...although the Spurs D really is scary...I wonder how we'd do against them..

Our players would be dropping like flies too....with our luck.

I think the curse of Sacramento rubbed onto Seattle because the Gods of Arco got confused when Seattle played like how we were suppose to be playing like and trailed them.

With our legendary bad luck, Bibby, Miller, Peja, Mobley and Thomas would all break their legs getting off the team bus before they could even make it inside the arena.

Sorry, as much as it pains me to admit that any team is better than my team, the Spurs are THAT GOOD. Plain and simple.

The Sonics were beatable when we played them. On their first possession of the first game, they were nervous and missed shot after shot after shot. Unfortunately, we allowed them rebound after rebound until they finally made one - eventually, they became confident.

The Spurs ARE that good. Might in fact be the best Spurs team to date if healthy. Can actually score for once. Now the Sonics aren't/weren't. Our old squads from the past 3-4 years would probably have beaten them fairly handily. But we aren't what we used to be. Spurs are though. And sour grapes are just stupid. Damn good team. In years past I thought the Spurs teams backed into their championships. This one however has a chance to flat out take it, and the talent to be a threat for years to come.

Dude do you not know the spurs record?!?! we were 1-3 against them this season, with one being a massive blowout. Plain and simple, the spurs are that much better than everyone else in the West, now when they play miami/det it might be different.

but these guys are contenders and will roll straight through the west.

I agree for sure that the Spurs are a good team. Sometimes just a boring team and I think thats why people get a distorted view of them.

I haven't watched a single game since we got the boot. Not sure if I care right now, I just want to see GP work his magic when he gets his health back.

i would rather the kings lose to a healthy sonics team then beat a hurt team. beating a healthy team has a nicer ring to it instead of these OH WAIT he was hurt ( so basically all the teams we've lost to aren't thought of so highly in my opinion ;) )

Maybe, and just maybe, the evil spirits from the old native burial ground underneath ARCO left with Sonics. Now they our cursed and we are off the hook. JAmes grabbed it in his garbage bag.

Just watch next season when we go injury free for all 82 games + playoffs!!!

Maybe Sonics can come to Wrigley with a goat!!

You guys are getting ahead of yourselves. It's just the first game. Who's to say the Spurs won't choke it all away, like they have so many times before? :D

The Spurs are a physical team, teams playing against them are more of risk than playing vs. finese teams like the Kings.

Has little to do with physical play and a lot to do with bad luck. Allen drives and steps on Bowen's foot. Radmonvic steps on Barry's foot. Duncan lands on Rasheed's foot. Nesterovic lands on his own foot (now that takes talent). It doesn't take much to sabotage a years worth of effort as unfortunatley Kings' fans know. Physical play causes bumps and bruises but usually injuries are just bad luck. Witness, Webber going down in the 2003 Dallas series.

I heard Radmonovic is out for the series. He turned his ankle as bad as Duncan did, ankle boe nearly touching the ground. That's got to be a grade 2.

Judge, jury and executioner. Doen't even need the trial.
And you have apparently jumped right off conclusion cliff and are floundering in assumption pond.

Which is pretty much what I'd expect from a defensive Spurs fan.

Sorry if you don't like it, but the facts are out there for interpretation. All I did was present a fact. I'll elucidate for you:

FACT: Once again, a key player has gone out to injury after some kind of interplay with Bruce Bowen.

That's ALL I said. You filled in the rest of the blanks yourself, didn't you? Got a guilty conscience?
