just best overall game. i just put their ppg as a reference if you needed itVF21 said:"Best" defined as? Highest ppg? Most improvement over last year? Most surprising? Making the most of what he has to work with?
oh, sorryMad D said:i can't believe you left out steve nash
There you go. I honestly didn't think he'd ever play at the NBA level again. WTG, Grant!!!RaY Z said:dude!!! wheres GRANT HILL!?
i could only do 10RaY Z said:dude!!! wheres GRANT HILL!?
cant believe u left him out as well... his having a stellar comeback...
I agree with most of this. Don't forget, Amare's not much older than LeBron. If his rebounding numbers were up a little more, he'd be right up there in MVP consideration.Bballkingsrock said:Many of those people have had incredible seasons so I will choose the top 3.
3. Amare Stoudmire - He has been phenominal, he has been scoring with confidence, also doing well on defense, but also a very nice piece to the puzzle for the Suns. I think he is very talented.
2. Dwayne Wade - Just like Amare, he is just unbelievable. Today he got his first career triple double which was an amazing preformance verse the defending champs. He can score whenever he wants. I compare him to Shaq because, again, he can score whenever he wants. Now, this guy is Shaq's little brother.![]()
1. Lebron James - We can't forget about Bron Bron. He has been sensational. He can rebound the ball. He can make his teammates be better. He can also shoot the ball which he has been better at this year. He is solid when it comes to pressure. But the most amazing part is, he is only 20 years old.![]()
ok. thanksVF21 said:I can fix it for you...I'll add Steve Nash and Grant Hill, if it's okay with you. It is your poll after all.

well LeBron is going to win anyways so I decided to spread my vote outGargamel said:OK, who voted for C-Webb...
I chose based on best season compared to previous seasons and expectations for this season,
There ya go...better?Gargamel said:Shocked that no one has chosen KG yet. Those numbers are like what Kareem used to average in the mid-70s.
22.9 ppg, 14.6 rpg, 6.4 apg, 1.7 spg, 1.7 bpg
Still plays in the league, still a serious MVP candidate. But if you ask "who is having the best year"...well, Tim is, as always, just having his normal year. Never changes. Doesn't have good years. Or bad ones. Just is Tim Duncan. (actually I think his per minute production is up a bit this year, but we're still talking 22pts 12rebs 2.5blks. Ho-hum.KA_2 said:Uh, does Tim Duncan not play in the NBA anymore? He's my MVP quite easily this season, along with KG.
heh...not really. its just their incredible defense. where teams like detroit have been hurt incredibly by david stern's stricter foul rules, SA has thrived. dunno why that is, but they lead the league in fewest pts/game allowed at somewhere in the ballpark of 85. when ya only need to score 86 pts/game on the average to win, its not gonna be terribly difficult to compile a winning record.Nikos said:Yep. Duncan is actually not playing that many minutes for an elite NBA player @34.7mpg. Minutes are down this season. Career average is 38.7mpg.
I guess Rasho, Horry, and Rose are holding down the fort for them![]()
I know what you mean. Duncan and KG continually being the top 2 undisputable MVP candidates gets boring, and fans need to talk about the other MVP candidates, like LeBron, Wade, Shaq, etc.Bricklayer said:Still plays in the league, still a serious MVP candidate.
