Whick King will be left off the playoff roster?

I know it may be early but i was at work thinking today and i asked myself this question so now i will ask what you guys think. If Bobby Jackson comes back and is healthy and plays in the playoffs. Whick current King will be left off the playoff roster. We can only have 12 players. Here are our choices

Bibby
Jackson
House
Mobley
Evans
Martin
Williamson
Peja
Darius
Thomas
Skinner
Miller
Ostertag

Well House would seem the likely candidate, but its not impossible Martin gets left off due to experience. You would think they'd keep Tag on the roster for expereince/big defensive wars in the playoffs.

I was thinking House but if Jackson goes down then Mike is left with no backup at all. Martin is the most likely candidate but, thats just mean for a guy to be on the team all year and 5 ppl go to the playoffs with the team that hasn't been there but 2 or 3 months.

If Jackson is a hundred percent, House. If he's at all questionable, Martin.

And, I'm reasonably sure that, if you play more than half the season with the team that wins the championship, you're entitled to a ring.

I think its pretty obvious. Definately Bibby, what good does he do us? j/k ;)

Ummm... Probably Martin.... Ostertag will probably stay because depth at center is super important

the first person i thought of would be Kevin...but who really knows what the coaches are thinking...sometimes you think they are going one way and then they go in the entirely different direction

stay tuned...

I believe if you're on the active roster, you get a ring. There are people that have gotten rings despite playing virtually nil minutes. I'll have to check, but I'm pretty certain that you do get a ring if you win the championship. It'll take a miracle for us to win though, so the discussion may well be moot.

the ring is given from the owners and most owners do give the ring to certain players left off the playoof roster.

I do believe if bobby is ready to play house will be left off the roster. mobley can back up chris and that would put mo and cat in at the same time

Theres no way House gets left off. RA has been putting him in there a lot, House will be there in case we need a backup for Bibby still.(or in case of injury to Mike or Bobby). It will be the guy whos out of the rotation right now, Martin.

I say Bobby. It just wouldn't seem fair to leave Martin off. He's at least been here and contributed which Bobby hasn't been able to do.

I honestly don't see Bobby being ready in time for the playoffs anyway.

This is one decision I really, really, really don't envy whoever has to make it.

i say peja its not like hes gonna show up anyways. MUHAHHAHAHHAHA. no seriously though its gonna be kevin martin because he is not experienced enough to get any playoff playing time.

I think it will depend on exactly when Bobby is ready to play. If he is ready sometime this month, and has plenty of practice and play time (especially with all the new guys) then I think he will play and Spec K will be left off. However, if Bobby doesn't get much work in before the playoffs start, then he could be a hindrance, having not played for so long, so I would tell him to not try and get back this year. He stays on IL and Spec K gets to be on the roster.

I think Tag could be expendable, however, I don't see management leaving someone with his experience off the roster and leaving Spec K on it.

we need all our experienced players on the playoff roster, so if bobby is healthy get him in and leave martin out. over the next few years he can gain some more experience and then get included in the playoff roster

It's a slap on the face to be ready for every single game - in good shape and ready to play - and yet be left off the playoff roster.

IF Bobby is able to play and produce, of course he should go BUT not at the expense of leaving our first-round draft pick home. If anyone, I would be very tempted to leave Tag off the roster.

i totally agree. i feel bad for the big lunk, but things just didnt work out for tag the way we all hoped they would. the simple fact is, when he got minutes, he didnt produce in the areas he needed to. we knew he wasnt gonna score, that was a no brainer. but his rebounding numbers, blocked shots, and general lane-clogging didnt amount to a whole lot. and then, skinner comes in and immediately produces, w/o knowing the system and lacking in familiarity with his new teammates. skinner has earned his spot in the rotation and has taken o-tag's job. i do feel bad for the guy, but i would consider him to be the most likely to be left off the playoff roster. but this, of course, all depends on the injury situation entering round one.

*knocks on wood*

this is an easy one...its bibby for sure...
hahaha j/k...umm ima go w/special K...if bobby is back in any way, shape or form...

i say tag gets it.... given the match ups.... we wont need him to beat dallas or to lose to san antonio.... we wouldnt need him against phoenix or seattle either.... he hasnt done anything against the heat and detroit isnt very big with b. wallace as center....

we'll be like hanes t-shirts.... tagless....
