Wheaties box

I went to Safeway and Raleys in Natomas and did not find the Monarchs on any of the boxes. At Raleys on the bigger box they had the San Antonio Spurs.

I went to Raley's off of Folsom (the one not far up from Howe Ave) and did not see the Monarchs on any Wheaties boxes there either. I just saw what you saw.

Last night on the 11:00 p.m. news (either Channel 3 or Fox40; I'm not sure), the sports reporter said that the boxes will come "later this week". My guess is mid-week or Friday.

Glad I didn't miss them. I went to the store last night and got a little pouty faced when I saw a couple of different Wheaties boxes and holes on that shelf where it looked like the stock had started to run low. I figured I had waited too long....

OK, the Safeway in South Sac, on Elk Grove-Florin and Calvine, Safeway at Watt and Arden, the Raley's at Fair Oaks and Arden, and the Bel Air on Calvine do NOT have the box. The manager at Bel Air took my name & number and said he would call me when it came it. He and his buyer had seen the mention in the Bee about it so he at least knew about it......wah wah wah

I've been hitting several different places each day. I'll be sure to post where I actually find some.
I have a feeling they'll be out this week, either before or after the grocery sale ads in the Bee. (a typical grocery restock day)

Saw some Wheatie boxes at the Bel-Air on West El-Camino. The one in Natomas. I called after I saw them on E-Bay for $20 bucks a piece! Someone from Rancho selling them...man what a trip. $3.88 a box. They are nice!
