Could very well be the case. But if we go in strong then we at least can say we belonged there. If we just bumbled and stumbled and backed our way into #8, now that would suck and be pointless. But if we win our way into #7, #6...well then we were just a legit playoff team and unfortunately just have to suffer the draft consequences of that.

That's a very valid point. I'd like to think if we can get to #6, we make a legitiamte run. Even at 13th or 14th pic, we might not have got a talented big. Maybe McRoberts or Noah, but both are too raw to make an immediate impact in the defensive middle

Other than injurys. I have a fear that K-Mart and Garcia are going to become so good that there will not be enough PT for Artest Bonzi K-Mart and Garcia. I am afraid one might get traded or not resigned in the offseason. Is there anyway Artest can get some min at PF? After all he is about the same size as KT. why oh why does this keep poping up in my mind. Its fine for this year but, next year something is going to have to give.

I think this is th reason why Bonzi won't be here next year, unless he accespt a role off the bench. We cannot stunt K-Mart's growth by resigning Bonzi, and letting him start. This would have been the same as Keeping Corliss, and making Peja come of the bench year after year.
