What's up with Bibby?

Just wondering why Bibby's shot looks bad from outside (for the most part) the last game or two. Is he just tired? Looked like he had ice on his right shoulder last night (covered with a towel) relatively early in the game - is he nursing a nagging injury I haven't heard about (or they aren't talking about)? Most of those outside shots just didn't look Bibby-like....

Other than his outside shot, he's still playing out of his mind trying to keep us in it.

Go Kings!

Since he is now running the offense and playing more minutes his legs are tired.

He has had a bad hammy for a while, and since the semi hyper extended knee, he has been coming up short on his shots.

Mike is a jump shooter and his legs are his most important aspect in his shot!

He is not a machine. He hit the wall and there is no time to recover. He is asked to do too much

to quote what teamdime said in another thread...

"Mike's gas tank light has been on for ten miles with no gas station in sight!!"

I believe that pretty much sums up "whats up with Bibby"

:)

He really is gonna have to find a game or two here or there to sit out...he needs some time off...will that happen prolly not...

Hope he is not driving my truck cause then he only has 2 miles LEFT!!!!

They say Bobby will/should be back for the last week so if that happens, Bibbs should get some rest depending on how RA rotates him in.

Here's the problem with putting a lot of expectations on Bobby that I haven't seen mentioned much of anywhere else:

Last time Bobby Jackson played, Doug Christie was still a member of the team. There are, as we know, A LOT of guys on the team now that he's never played with. Even a minute.

I have a lot of faith in Bobby Jackson being able to come into the game and make an impact of some sort, but I'm really doubtful that he's going to come in -- most likely during the post-season -- and single-handedly right the ship.

Hell, if you look at the way the team has changed since Bobby last played, Eddie House is lookin' like the vetran (purely in terms of the current roster, I haven't completely lost my mind).

**In re-reading this post, I realize that it doesn't really have a whole heck of a lot to do with BigWaxer's original post, but this is where it landed, so this is where its staying**

LOL thats okay I agree with what you said and never really thought about it in the way you were looking at it. But I have to agree with you, I mean I was saying in other threads that even if Brad came back in the playoff's he still hasn't played with this team and prolly wouldn't be effective. Same has to be true for Bobby if I am feeling the same about Brad. Actually more so with Bobby since he has been out for so long. Different players of course and I think Bobby could get into the flow by the style of his play a lot quicker but the rest of the team also has to learn to play with him.
