its hard to pick but ill just state out what i think might happen and theoretically "break out" years for said players
Hawes: if geoff is telling the truth about accelerating his growth then he WILL have a break out year (notice i didnt say MIGHT or probably) and IF he comes to training camp bulked up, with that sky hook he told the press he would work on then no doubt he will have a great year
Martin: this guy keeps on improving every year, if he manages to add a little defense to his game like playing the passing lanes and having extra energy for defense, also a decent court vision (like 3 to 4 assists per game) with an average of 23ppg 4.1rpg then he can make a run for the allstar game (assuming people take notice)
Garcia: last years performance indicates that he has matured and learned his role, assuming that he gets better, gets a better feel for the game then he might take the starting role from Salmons (assuming artest is traded) if artest stays then he has to battle salmons for the 6th man position, hopefully he improves and knocks off ginobili for sixth man
Quincy Douby: tweener, too short for a shooting guard, and not enough handles to be a point, if he manages to be a shut down type of guard on the point (him and garcia can play together and garcia takes point) and manages to sink more threes than last year then im happy, the guys got long arms so he better utilize it
Sheldem Williams: too slow and too small to be a PF, but he has that nastiness and bulk to muscle his way inside, if he manages to stay away from thos 15 foot jumpers he shoots and bruises his way inside then he can be a viable trade bait,
UDRIH: getting that 5 mil pay check that raise he so deserves.... now its time to prove why he deserves it....wishful thinking he elevates further then we will be talking how underpaid the guy is (lets hope this is the case)
the rookies lets put another topic after the first summer league game
