What do you think of J Will's legacy with the kings

I think he is one of most exciting players i ever seen in my life . I would pay a lot of money again to see the things he was capable of doing through some defenses . The only thing is his shooting wasn't able to take us to the second tier level .

Let's not gloss over the down-sides. Yes, J-Will was talented and exciting. He was also totally unpredictable and erratic. You never knew exactly what he was going to do. Would he hoist a three from just over the half-court line? If he did, would it even get close to the rim? Would his pass be direct to Webber or Peja? Or would it end up in the fourth row of seats?

J-Wll's legacy with the Kings is he was there at the start of the most exciting time in Sacramento Kings history. And he made us gasp in delight...and gasp in dismay. He's gotten better as he matured. I'm happy for him right now in Miami because he's still got that spark BUT he's not being totally smothered as I think he was under Hubie Brown. He did learn some control from Hubie, and I think it was what he really needed.

Ah, but you have to admit he would also get your heart pounding with excitement. After the game, you'd had your cardio-vascular exercise, which was good. But the pounding headache from your aforementioned head slapping.

He gave us something unique, however. He helped light up Arco like no one else before him. I miss him but I'm glad he's there and not here, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

;)

Compleetly makes sense... loved watching him play (at least his first 2 years) but my frustration level incresed dramatically as he aged with out maturing.

hes a very good player but he never was under control and he was very immature and still is. i remember last year when memphis got swept in the first round and the reporter asked him questions and J-WILL went crazy. bibby is way way better at the point guard position.

i loved j-will, he was my favorite king. i think gettin outta sac was good for him cuz hubie was willing to take the time to help him mature. i liked some of the plays he did, even if they didnt always work. i was kind of hoping the lakers would snag him in the offseason. there's a video on the site here, it was great. it showed how talented he was. hes not as flashy as he used to be but he put the kings on the map and helped lead them from the cellar

He has and always has had problems and I mean some SERIOUS problems when it comes to second half scoring... He has a mind block or something; like he's not loose out there unless its the start of the game... It was evident in the christmas day game where he started the game aggresive and willing to score, but as the game went along he vanished from it and GP took over his minutes... J will became terrified to do any type of attacking on offense... Makes my mind boggle... I love the guy for finding my love for basketball again, but I just don't know what's wrong with him mentally when he plays.
