Just not the right fit. He could be productive, but I like Thompson's upside a lot more. Even if Thompson is a disappointment, Lopez will never be that great, so why go for him when we could have really solid potential with JT.

Lopez is prob a little better defensively and rebounding where thompson is a much better offenseive player, my opinion of course.

Thompson has more all around skills. At this point Lopez may be a little better defensively, but Thompson is probably a better rebounder, having averaged 12 plus a game. Thompson is probably a little better athlete, definitely a better passer and ball handler and just as big as Lopez.
