yeah...i listen to some pretty obscure music sometimes. dredg is an amazing band that i recommend to anybody who wishes to expand their rock & roll horizons. they are an incredibly innovative band who doesn't compromise their music for the sake of the mainstream. their most recent album, catch without arms, is starting to break into popular radio, but their first two albums, leitmotif and el cielo, never received much radio play, which is a damn shame. not to mention dredg is a local band. they all went to high school in the sacto area, and, imo, there are two bands you absolutely MUST know of if you're from the sacramento area: the deftones are the first. dredg is the second. check them out.
