I can picture it now: The Kings win the lottery and, with a bunch of great big men on the board along with another potential stud PG candidate, pick Kelly Oubre with the number one pick because there's nothing better than two lottery pick SGs than three lottery pick SGs (not saying Oubre will be an NBA SG or that he'd turn out crappy).

Or in a spate of craziness, they draft Stanley Johnson to further promulgate NBA 3.0 despite already having Rudy Gay and several people already backing him up.

The confusing thing about incompetent people is that their actions always makes sense in some other scenario when we attribute some motive to their behaviors.

The tank is unproven. I mean there are rumors the FO had ideas of replacing Malone before the season. But if they had we might not have been able to keep Rudy. I know it sucks they way it happened but I'm glad we have Rudy. He is wanted here.

George Karl has said taking over a team mid season is not ideal. So it makes sense to have an interim coach (Fingers crossed.)

Maybe if they where able to hire who they wanted instead of Corbin, the team might be doing better. I think they are giving Corbin a chance but I don't think he is the kind of coach they want. He is not an uptempo guy (not that I'm thrilled with uptempo myself). He appears to have other issues keeping him from being successful as a HC also.

The team is really between a rock and a hard place. We need more talent. So I think with things moving in this direction, I'm not too upset if we keep our pick (Fingers crossed). If we have a pick in the 8 to 10 range in this draft, I think we pick Willie Cauly Stien. He appears to be the best center at that spot. I think he would be a good back up to Cousins.
