Western Conference

McCants showed he can play since late January, consistently. Evenutally got into the starting line-up because Hassell went out with an injury for a few games. Marcus Banks made an impact in his first game as a T'Wolve, and continued to do so, working his way as the starting PG after a couple weeks. Bracey Wright was in the DL for like the whole year till the last couple weeks.

Pioneer Press - Timberwolves VP Kevin McHale, who hopes to re-sign free-agent point guard Marcus Banks: "I'd like to kidnap him, but I'm not sure I can do that."

Banks became a key part of the Wolves rotation after coming over in a trade from Boston.

Ah, and once again, booyah to the Boston Celtics. :)

I'd love to see Sac sign him, but really think the Wolves lock him up, they're very high on him. Also don't want another B-Jax/Billups, both given up on. Banks is going to work on his three point shot over the summer.

Well, not too sure we'd sign him for either of those. But I think the Wolves will.
