Westbrook

talented as hell, but kind of a Reke clone, but with better athleticism and speed.

Reke has the size and strength on him though.

Plus, he's just ready to blow at any moment with that temper.

HECK NO. He is a worse distributor than Tyreke. On top of that, he is wayyyyy more selfish that Reke.

Westbrook's jump shot may be even worse than Tyreke's. We all saw his playoffs last year when he was shooting 30% but jacking up 30 shots a game.

Westbrook's current season stats : 31% FG, 17% 3PT, 6 TO/gm, 15 pts, 6 ast, 5 rebs.

(though only 3 games in, is consistent with his selfish play and poor shot selection)

I think Westbrook really let making the all stars get to his head. He clearly thinks he should be on Derrick Rose's level so he tries to take over the team. Sorry RW, but KD is the better player and he really should be getting more than 6 assists being the ball handler playing alongside the league leading scorer.

this exactly..

Lots of talk about Westbrook not working in OKC.

Evans for Westbrook straight up. I bet OKC says no before the Kings.

I find this a somewhat ironic proposal given your longstanding issues with Tyreke. Tyreke is the fluffy little bunny of pure PGism compared to Westbrook's blatantly me-first play.

Gotta go with the majority here. There's no doubt that Westbrook and play havoc with the other teams defense at times, but he's a very similar player to Tyreke. Westbrook is quicker with more leaping ability, but Tyreke is capable of playing three positions defensively and doing just about everything Westbrook can do offensively. Now if your were talking Chris Paul, then I'd be on board. Also from everything I've read, and I've read a lot today, the Thunder aren't remotely interested in trading Westbrook. The whole incident is being blown up by the usual suspects that have nothing better to do.

haha, Evans isn't even the conversation with Westbrook with who is a better PG. Better go check those stats Brick. Plus Westbrook is twice the defender.

adding Westbrook to our locker room would be no bueno. would especially be worried about potential clashes with Cousins, and I'd take Cousins every time.

At this point in time, I would make this trade. While I am an Evans fan, he hasn't proved he's a franchise player, something that probably Cousins will.

Id sooner go for harden than westbrook.. westbrook is an athletic version of tyreke can't shoot too.

between harden fredette and thornton you have decent shooting

Westbrook, Rondo, Evans .. in that order of who I would want.

Evans, in my opinion, has by far the most question marks, and is the least 'sure thing' of the bunch. I'm not 'hating' on him, but I think with any of the above players THIS team with THIS coach makes the playoffs, and that is saying something.

Westbrook and Evans both have the same problem. Westbrook is further along than Evans and can play off the ball a bit, but they both become blackholes with poor vision.

I'm not sure why OKC would do it.

Really can't stand Westbrooks game; If OKC had Rondo they'd be a lock for long term success.

Why they didn't think about that trade i don't know. (don't know the math on it)

I think westbrook and evans are close to the same player. Rondo is superior to both of them however he has fewer miles left on him.
None of these players are a threat shooting from distance. If youre trying to get an upgrade for tyreke youre talking about acquiring a top tier player like paul, williams, rondo, rose...

Westbrook > Evans and it's not even close. OKC would laugh in GP's face if we offered Reke for him.

Westbrook averaged over 8 assists the past two seasons.

Westbrook is faster. Tyreke is stronger. Thats roughly where their differences end. It would be a lateral move at this point as far as im concerned. I dont know why but i feel like Tyreke has a little more humility.
