David Kahn likes Wesley, still hopes Cousins will workout for him. Said they've assured Cousins there will be an opportunity for him on the team even with Al and Kevin.

Johnny Flynn likes Wesley... but not sure how much pull he has on the FO.

In the 1st video, he missed a lot of shot at the begining. But his shooting form is very good. I can see him being able to play SG as long as he'll continue to work on his handles. He can be a like a Reggie Miller/Rip Hamilton type player that mostly shoots off picks.

Wes reminds me of TMac... looks and interview style.

I agree that it seems like the wolves REALLY like Johnson. Dont know how much i agree with your assesment on Johnsons game though. To me Johnsons game is more like a less erratic version of JR Smith.

We seriously need to get him in for a workout.

I agree. We need to go BPA. I know Geoff wants a big, but you shouldn't pass on talent. I also thought it was interesting how Kahn said that Cousins could have a place on the team. Not exactly comforting words if you're Demarcus' agent.

I think he CAN be like a Reggie/Rip type of player if he continues to develop. His ability to just flat out shoot and playing off the ball is what I'm drawing comparisons to.

JR doesn't play a team game. Wes seems more willing to play with the team's offense while JR shoots way too much... even bad shots, hence his FG%. Though JR can go on hot streaks, its either he is hot or he's not.

I think the only way DC has a place is if he works out so well that they feel like to must take him and trade away Al or Kevin. If those 2 stays plus Darko, there just isn't enough mins for a rookie.

I do like Monroe's overall skill set but from the clip of his workout, I haven't seen enough to take him over Cousins or Johnson.

Anyone have the old workout video from Corey Brewer when he worked out for the Wolves? Cannot for the life of me locate it. Maybe I was thinking about the one with the Grizzlies (which I had found).. At any rate he was supposed to bring them stability at SG/SF...

I really do hope they take Johnson though because that means we would still get what I believe is a top 4 player.

He has a really nice shooting form. I'm glad to see that some of the comparisons to Shawn Marion aren't based off his jump shot

Just give me Cousins and I'll be a happy camper. I think I can live with Johnson too. I just hope Geoff doesn't pass on Cousins if Johnson gets taken and vice versa. No Monroe or any other big that doesn't belong in the top 5 please.

Is this guy a GM or a local sports reporter:rolleyes:

He just puts everything out there.

Indeed he's finally made him useful as he gave a pretty detailed breakdown of exactly which picks in the Top 5 were available, and for what, a few days ago. GMs never do that. But he did. So just so long as he's not my team's GM, long live Kahn! :-p

Yeah but if he screws us and takes Cuz...

He reminds me of Rashard Lewis.

It looks like he could be really good, except I don't think he would fit on the Kings roster, because we need a center first and foremost, we are logjammed at small forward, and his ball handling doesn't seem sharp enough for him to become a well balanced shooting gaurd, imo.

He reminds me of Scottie Pippen with almost the same height and body frame. He also looks like Pippen the way he moves and glides inside the court. I hope he also got Pippen's ballhandling and defensive skills.

I think Kahn is okay. I don't see anything wrong with being that talkative and straightforward in those interviews. GMs does not have to be very secretive like a secret agent ( or CIA ) or introvert like Petrie.

In the rich tradition of stating who he reminds us of I agree with the Reggie/Rip comparisons on offense but he's going to bring better D I think. If he can continue his nose for rebounding he'll continue to remind me of Matrix. I'm not seeing the point forward ball handling skills of Pippin for that comparison yet but maybe he's gonna unveil that soon. There's a lot to like with him though.

He's so athletic and wiry strong. His vertical and ridiculous upper body strength for his weight are impressive. It'll be fun to watch him in his career.

Johnson looks good, very athletic. Also a very quick leaper. He'd be a good consolation prize if we don't get Cousins.

Its like being in a poker game and talking about the cards you have and what your strategy for playing the hand is. Not so bright. As fans we'd like to know a lot more, but that doesn't mean its a good strategy.

I am glad GP plays his cards so close to the chest. Don't give the other guy any more leverage than you can.
