Nice pick and I'm very happy.

Welcome to Sacramento, Thomas...and to your incredible little sister, too!

Welcome to the land of Kings Thomas. From what I've heard your a class individual who has had several hardships but has come though to shine. And you have some damn good skills and can get above the rim.... Welcome aboard!

He's not what I wanted in terms of fit, but he is a safe pick.
Good character, not a project at all, 15 and 10 easy, a borderline all-star in a couple years.
If they keep JT that might the the best big rotation in basketball for the next 5 years.

it's hard not to be happy about such a good guy with that much heart and character. hopefully were in store for a Blake griffin type highlights from trob, maybe even he could be better than Blake which would be poetic justice.

I'm happy with the pick. We just possibly became the best rebounding team in the league. Robinson has a fire under him right now, hes going to work harrrrd. Safest and best pick IMO.

Welcome T-Rob! Your attitude and desire is very much welcome. I look forward to seeing you form a beastly frontcourt with big Cuz for a long time, and getting us back to winning ways!

Possibly unexpected WIN-FALL! Bigs are hard to come by. Athletic Bigs even more so. This Kid is a high character person with some really nice skills. I am stoked! We still need a SF though.

Exactly what we needed, this guy is ready to play NOW. Cousins and Robinson will dominate the boards, good character guy too. Should be the PF of this team for the next 10 years.

KU fan here. I can't wait to get my Kings Thomas Robinson jersey. You guys got yourself a relentless worker who is probably more mature than about anyone else in the draft. He knows what he has to do and he's gonna do it.

Welcome T-Rob! I'm sure you'll be a much better player than most people expect you to be. It's a great day for the Kings, very happy to have you here!

I know i'm going to catch some fire for this but can we play him at the 3 for stretches?

Under Smart? He'll be lucky if he's not backing up at center.

Somebody in the draft thread did hit upon a name that could be hugely key for us though: Perfect fit nxt to a Cousins/Trob frontline? Andei Kirilenko. Okur/Boozer had the same can't protect the middle problem, so Utah had their 6'11" SF do it instead. Minor difficulty being that I don't think he wants anythig to do with us. :p

He's not exactly what we need but he might change the culture of the Kings a little and that's worth a lot also. Seems like a good guy, obviously energetic, and may be inspirational to the other Kings. He should get along with Cuz just fine. Kind of a scary pair. :) Can't wait to see the team rebound stats. It's hard to score if you don't have the ball.

Could not be more thrilled with this pick. He was right up there with MKG for my most wanted players for us in the draft.

IT-Reke-T-Rob-Cousins is a super exciting core to move forward with. Great night to be a Kings fan!

Not a great fit at all, but a steal at 5.

If IT and T Rob are starting we are really small at 2 positions.

I hope it works out.

One of the four is not like the others. Where did Thornton go?

I'm not a huge fan of the frontline fit, but we got a top 3 talent at No.5. This guy is probably the most NBA ready player in the draft. He looks like he's been in the NBA a few years already. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him as ROY with great rebounding numbers.

One of the guys aside from Barnes that I expected to fall of the top 5 because he's a bit undersized. Well we grab him. So Welcome Thomas. Hope you got the same fire as DMC that really proved he's more than a 5th pick in the draft.

Yeeehaa! Can't have enough big guys who are uber athletes. He's got maturity and talent. There is no downside whatsoever. He's going to have a chip on his shoulder going 5, and that's all the better. We totally lucked out with this one.

I'm happy to have him since MKG wasn't an option!

However I can't help to shake the feeling we picked him as trade bait.. sadly.
